US: UFO caught on camera over Virginia Beach

A Virginia Beach witness shot photos and video of two UFOs in the night sky March 29 - of objects "streaking back and forth."

Driving along after having dinner, he stopped the car to take photos when he spotted the strange lights.

Three of his images were uploaded to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database. The video is not yet available.

Below is the unedited report as filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that some sightings can be explained as natural occurrences or manmade. We will report back with any MUFON findings they send our way - especially a photo analysis.

Russia: Search for Yeti finds nothing....yet

The much anticipated search for the legendary Snowmen that have recently been sighted by hunters in the vast wilderness in the vicinity of the city of Kemerovo in Russia has failed to find anything. Researchers remain hopeful however and plan to return for another more thorough expedition.

Stories of 'Yeti' style creatures described as human-like with black/brown hair have circulated in this region of Siberia for centuries and with recent reports of hunters witnessing the creatures in an area known as the Azasskoy caves it was decided that a proper academic search should take place.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Me and my dad just dropped my girlfriend off home, and we were driving down Santa Barbra road. The sky was cloudy and had an orange tinge in the clouds and me and my dad thought we saw some bats fly over street light, we both said they looked far too big to be bats and then we saw these lights just appear in the sky, spiraling around in a circular formation like a light show, a really big light show.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: During a drive to my aunt's house we notice a very strong huge, miles long luminescent light. This light filled up a large portion of the sky and it was all in the clouds, then dimmed out.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On this evening, my husband and I were returning his 90 yr old mother to her home. It was mostly dark outside at the time we were around the Snowden St and Hamilton St area. I looked up and saw this UFO, thinking it was a plane. It was odd for a plane and I stared at it. Just then my mother-in-law asked, what was the thing up in the sky?, to which I said, "A plane". She stated it couldn't be as it didn't move, which I had to agree to. It just sat still in the air. My husband was too busy driving to pay attention.

Time: 6:30 a.m. to 6:45 a.m.

I too have seen something strange along this same route as I head to the Sunrise Highway exit weekday mornings from 6:30am to 6:45. Friday March 27 I was in the passenger seat as me and my girlfriend were driving. The sky was crystal clear, no clouds at all in this direction, no planes either and for some odd reason there are never planes in this direction at this time in the morning in this clear sky. I saw this a flat white disc shaped object in the middle of the sky just sitting there. I studied it for a while thinking maybe it might be a cloud, but why out of this whole clear sky would there be one tiny cloud just floating there. So I figured it wasn't a cloud. I thought maybe a plane or helicopter, but no wings and no propeller.

England: UFO Solway sightings

Extra terrestrial activity over the Solway Firth is hotting up, according to a UFO research group.

Sightings of orange lights over West Cumbria have recently "gone crazy" according to founder of the North West UFO Group, Pat Regan.

"We've had around 12 reports come from the Workington and Maryport area," he said.

"We've had others from Silloth and Ambleside and most of them seem to be very similar. Activity over West Cumbria has gone crazy since the new year."

The latest witness report came on Thursday when an astronomy enthusiast spotted two orange balls of light moving at great speed over the Solway Firth over towards Moresby and Whitehaven and on to the north east.

England: UFO mystery for revellers

Revellers in Shrewsbury spotted unusual orange lights moving in the sky above the town over the weekend - adding further sightings to the county's UFO phenomenon.

The lights were seen moving in the same direction at about 11.30pm on Saturday by a number of people in the town, including revellers at C21 in Abbey Foregate. It comes after UFO experts launched an inquiry.

The investigation in Shropshire follows a number of sightings in the area.

Belief in UFOs is a faith issue for Territorians, the results of an exclusive Northern Territory News poll show.

Most of those surveyed believed in UFOs - but that doesn't mean they've seen one.

The telephone survey revealed 60 per cent of Territorians surveyed believe UFOs exist, but only 16 per cent have seen one.

Not even "evidence" of alien contact with Earth would convince half the respondents.

Stonehenge, the Egyptian pyramids, crop circles and ice on Mars were cited by 42 per cent of respondents as proof of extra-terrestrial contact.

US: Fleet of boomerang-shaped objects hover over Carlsbad, California

Carlsbad, California - 3/30/2009 - At least ten boomerang-shaped objects were seen hovering in the sky for over one hour. The objects were flashing red, white and blue. There was no apparent pattern to the flashes, just a steady changing back and forth. After observing the stationary objects for approximately 10 minutes, the witness noticed a jet fly by. The objects didn't move as the jet flew by. The witness went inside to take a shower, and upon his return noticed that there were still four or five of the objects visible to the naked eye.
