Nestor and Sara were asleep at home when "a very loud report" woke them up. Hours later, they found strange holes in the ground; experts are looking into the case.

The event occurred on January 14 at approximately 3:00 a.m. while the owners of the property, Nestor Rivoira and Sara Fernandez, his wife, were asleep. It lasted for ten minutes.

First of all, Congratulations to President Obama and the people of the United Stated of America. Change has happened. And, it seems possible that not only the whole world was watching the inauguration but beyond as well...

One of the questions Obama was asked was whether or not he would give the world insights in to the UFO phenomenon. Some people might think it is not such an important matter where some think it is the most important question of all time that needs to be answered to the people.

UK: UFO sightings gather momentum

AN article on sightings of a strange orange light in the sky above the strath has prompted another reader to come forward with details of how he saw the same unexplained phenomenon around the end of last year.

Colin Scott emailed the paper to say he had seen a similar light in the sky while out walking his dog shortly before 10pm on December 29.

This was exactly the time Jennifer and Andy Hill were reported to have seen a similar orange light above their home at Middle Terrace, Kingussie.

And he is at a loss as to explaining what it is he photographed.

Strange lights seen in the sky near Droitwich Spa heading in formation towards Bromsgrove may have been helicopters - or were they something else?

Whatever they were left Advertiser reader Jean Bamford searching for a logical explanation.

Jean, from Park Farm Barns, Oddingley, contacted the paper after seeing the bright orange lights at around 10.15pm on Saturday, January 17.

Full Description of event/sighting: I saw three lights low on the horizon, looking north off of my balcony near Wasilla, Alaska at around 7:15pm Alaska time on January 20th, 2009. I frequently go outside at night to watch the stars and I noticed this set of lights, which weren't supposed to be there.

Hi Brian, well not much to report really, just seemed a little strange, one of those things that doesn't seem to make sense! I was visiting a ranch property between Engen and Vanderhoof and had spent the evening with the owners. I'm not a resident of the area, I am from the Fraser Valley and was there on business. I left around 8:30 PM well after dark, my car was facing West in front of the house from which there was a broad view as the property sits up on a knoll. While warming up the car I was looking ahead and noticed two lights side by side approximately one to two miles out that appeared to be at about 2000 feet in elevation!

Full Description of event/sighting: I read the description of the UFO sighting that was on January 18, 2009 and the time that it was at, so I decided to go out looking for it at the same time on January 19, 2009. I didn't see anything for a while, but after about 15 or 20 minutes, a triangular shaped object flew over me.

Full Description of event/sighting: Last night at around 1:20am in the morning I had gotten up from bed and walked into the kitchen, my back was turned from our rear door, but in the corner of my eye, I saw that our entire backyard was lit up bright red. I was looking around to see where the light was coming from, maybe one of the houses or the road, but there was nothing around. Our garage was closed and there was no way that much light could get through such a small gap.

A photograph of Arminta Gutierrez, taken in the isle of Baru by her granddaughter Gabrielle Calderon, shows an unidentified flying object in the upper left hand corner. Another photo was taken by Milton Diaz, a photographer for El Tiempo, while on assignment in the town of Cumaribo (Vichada). Both photos were taken within the past six months - the Diaz photo was taken on June 26, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. on a clear, starry night.

"The greenish object was shaped like an inverted diamond and moved slowly. It took about 2 minutes to come down from the sky and lose itself in the horizon," says Milton. Ufologists determined that this was indeed a UFO.
