Two UFO sightings were reported in the Haywards Heath area at the weekend.
Witness Alison King said she spotted a circular object at 11.20pm on Sunday between the town and Cuckfield.
She said: "I saw a large, very bright circular white light low in the sky - at first it was high enough and I originally assumed it was a planet but it was much too large.
"Other than the light there were no visible parts of an object ... but the light was so bright.
"It went lower than the tree line and we lost sight of it and tried to follow it in the car but couldn't pick it up again.

A Welton man believes he saw a possible UFO in the village on Saturday.
Craig Taylor of Churchill Road said he saw a black object floating above Welton on Saturday night (April 25) at around 9.45pm.
He said: "It had no light and no sound and it stayed in the sky for five to 10 seconds before vanishing with some speed."

Interview - sequence of events
April 16th, 2009, approximately 3:15 a.m., Witness 1 was awakened by loud humming and she then woke up Witness 2 to have him check out where this strange sound was coming from.
Witness 2 walked from bedroom to bedroom to look through the windows to see what was causing this humming, thinking to himself that it may be a street cleaner sweeping the area roads or some sort of utility truck working on something. He returned to the master bedroom to look through the window that was next to Witness 1 and he noticed a very large triangular craft hovering above.
The UFO Traffic Report for Wednesday, April 29, 2009, includes 10 selected sightings over eight states, according to witness statements filed in the past 48 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Witness was taking photographs of cloud formations. Upon viewing the photos on the computer, this formation of three objects appeared in the picture. The witness never realized they were there at the time, and further reported that the sky was clear.
Another Colorado sighting - this time in Englewood -
Witness saw a large object, at an altitude of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 feet about 1.5 to two miles to the northeast of his position, but south of downtown Denver. Witness claimed that the object was clearly not a traditional fixed wing, or rotary aircraft. The object was totally solid, with sharp right angles at the corners and straight lines along the edges. The object was dark in color, with a rough texture, something like a dark, dirty-rust brown. There were no lights except for the reflection of sunlight off of the object's flat body. The flight path was from the southeast to the northwest. It followed a straight line and was traveling at a moderate speed. The witness was an 11-year military veteran and stated that this was not anything like any of the conventional aircraft that he had any knowledge of.
A fresh sighting of a mysterious black beast and a mutilated deer could be yet more evidence of a big cat thought to be prowling around Norfolk.
Jill Nobbs saw a large, dark coloured animal in the field at the bottom of her garden in Blofield on Wednesday.
She said: "The creature was about the size of a Labrador but longer and thinner and it ran extremely quickly.
"There were no signs of anyone walking a dog. I believe it was a wild animal, probably a puma."
She added that the animal was chasing something red - possibly a fox or a small deer.

Description: My wife and daughter saw a Round object hovering in the sky. She stated that it was not a Plane or Helicopter, and that it started to spin very fast then stop.
