Wales: Panther on prowl in Pembrokeshire?

Animal welfare officers from Pembrokeshire County Council are investigating a second sighting of a big cat in the Johnston area.

The panther-like animal was spotted over the weekend by a husband and wife who live in the village but who do not want to be named.

They described the animal as black, between four to five feet long with a curled tail and they watched it for several minutes.

Animal welfare officers have visited the scene to discover if it left tracks which could lead to its identification.

Five former military personnel have come forward to reveal that they worked at the secretive Area 51 testing facility. While stationed at Area 51 they claimed they worked on top secret CIA and military projects including a supersonic jet that could travel at three times the speed of sound. The appearance and flight performance of the top secret OXCART program led it to being often mistaken as a UFO according to the whistleblowers. A Los Angeles Times article with their testimonies concluded that the UFO mystery has been solved. Before celebrating the solution of the UFO mystery, it's worth considering some information that the LA Times article did not.

Scammon, Kansas - 4/4/2009 - A mother and her teenage son were leaving home to pick up her other son during the early morning hours, when they were confronted by a huge bright light rising above a nearby treeline. The two were driving east down their neighborhood street when the incident occurred. The object was described as being a large orange light that was not round, square, or oval in shape. It was difficult to discern any shape due to the object's extreme brightness. They turned north and sped in the direction of the object as it started moving east across the sky. Just above the object appeared to be a huge net. Both witnesses became very frightened as the mother managed to capture a picture of the object on her cell phone. The object continued traveling east, and in less than a minute, disappeared entirely. The two drove back to their house and pulled into the driveway. While the young son went into the house to get something, the mother sat waiting in the driveway. Suddenly, the object appeared a second time, coming back toward the witnesses. The woman's son encouraged her to chase the object, and they pulled out of the driveway just as it appeared to reach the edge of town. Visibility was blocked by several trees, and then the object suddenly vanished. About five minutes later a sheriff patrol car came by, and the witness gathered that he too may have seen the object, and was investigating.

Polish 'Snow Leopard'?

Residents in south western Poland are living in fear of a mysterious predator blamed for attacking and killing livestock, it has been reported during the last several days of March 2009.

The animal is thought to be a rare snow leopard. It's has been sighted numerous times around Opole and has even been recorded on a mobile phone camera by a resident of Biala village.

At another location, a driver informed the police that a big cat had jumped over his moving car while chasing a deer.

Comment: There was another sighting of a "leopard" in London.

At around 10:30PM On August 6 2003 an incredible event reminiscent of a scene from Independence Day or War of the Worlds occurred in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.

A huge mothership or even 'flying city' was seen by thousands of residents. The city-sized craft was clearly seen just above a thin layer of cloud. It was emitting green fluorescent light, pulsating and its energy lines were burning contours in the cloud.

Terrified witnesses ran for cover, amazed onlookers watched in awe and commuters literally stopped their cars in the middle of the roads to gaze upwards. Students frantically climbed up buildings to gain a closer look and reporters, hearts pounding, scrambled for photos.

The UFO hovered over the city for at least three hours and finally took off at a speed estimated by a journalist who witnessed the craft at 'ten times that of a plane'.

Airport authorities were contacted but alleged to have picked up nothing on their radars and no aircraft were above the city that night.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Me and my mother were in our backyard when I spotted a very bright Venus like light moving in an east/west direction, (towards Dartmoor.) The sky was clear and there were no other stars visible at that time. It was flying relatively low in comparison to a plane and it wasn't hanging around either.

But for Tudor Parfitt, Professor of Jewish Studies at London's School of African and Oriental Studies, its discovery was the culmination of a search that had taken him more than 20 years.

The professor was convinced that this object, which resembled a damaged, ancient African drum, was in fact the lost Ark of the Covenant.

One of the most holy objects in ­existence, the Ark, thought to have dated back to around 1200 BC, is ­described in the Bible as a form of container that once held the tablets on which were inscribed God's Ten Commandments.

A mysterious light in the skies above South Harrow has been captured on film by an amateur photographer.

The unidentified flying object appeared through the clouds at about 7.45pm on March 31 and was snapped by computer network engineer Ahmad Zaigham.

Mr Zaigham posted the picture on website Flickr where he said that he had spotted the alien ship out his window.

He said: "The light coming from this thing is something I have never seen the like. I don't think any aircraft has a light like this.

US: UFO reports include 30 objects over New Jersey sky

Some rather unusual UFO reports this week from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) reporting database includes four New Jersey witnesses who could not explain up to 30 objects in the sky over a three-hour period on April 2.

What first appeared to be a shooting star over Arizona skies took a witness there by surprise on March 20, when he then observed a white object that shot up into the sky and disappeared, only to be followed by another object moving parallel to the ground. He describes this and other sightings over a 15-minute period, including a white ball that turned red with a green fuzzy area around it. He is also not sure why his submitted photos look different than what he observed with the naked eye.

A routine trip for a septic tank employee to a field in Desdemona, Texas, on Feb. 5, turned alarming, when he took a second look at what he first thought was the planet Venus. The man first saw three, round, orange lights - flashing in a pattern - and then up to six lights appeared, forming the shape of a triangle over a three to four-minute period.
