Description: Driving south with my wife we both noticed one star get brighter and larger and all of the sudden within about five seconds we noticed this bright star was a triangular object the size of a single story house, shiny black in appearance which totally stopped and hovered about 100 meters in front of us. It did a 180 turn as it spun upside down and disappeared as quickly as it approached and blended into the starry sky. My wife and myself were totally freaked by this situation. The strange thing was not seeing this object but something told my wife and myself to look up into the sky as we were driving, like we were expecting something.

For many in Hoopa, California, Bigfoot is a reality of the inland valley -- one that several residents have experienced through first-hand encounters.

Those encounters -- profiled in David Paulides' The Hoopa Project: Bigfoot Encounters in California -- point to evidence bolstering the existence of the large human-like creature.

The book, a collaborative effort of the North American Bigfoot Search, is based on a numerous interviews conducted in 2004. But, the catalyst goes a bit further back.

In a telephone interview from his Los Gatos home this week, Paulides said the organization began when a group of business acquaintances were sitting around a table one day and began talking about strange occurrences in the woods.

"That was the catalyst for us to talk," he said.

Is this an amazing work of art, or of something from science-fiction?

The neat, intricate pattern does pose the question - how on earth was it made?

The huge crop circle sculpted in a sea of barley seems to be based on the Yin and Yang theme, and appeared near an ancient British burial mound beneath Windmill Hill near Devizes, Wiltshire on 25 May.

The ancient area of Wiltshire close to Silbury Hill, Windmill Hill and the Sanctuary is a hot spot for crop circles.

Witness Statement: Large bright orange/red ball traveling very fast across the sky east to west. No noise although it seemed to be quite near. Not usual flight path and the whole ball seemed to glow like a fireball. This was repeated about 50 mins later following the same path. 5 people in our house went outside and witnessed the spectacle. None of us had ever seen anything like it in our life. The object seemed to be traveling very very fast.

Witness Statement: On several occasions I've seen an orange ball of light when heading home in the evening heading towards Tattingstone out of Ipswich. It seems too big and too close to be a satellite catching the setting sun and seems to disappear and reappear in different positions in the sky, but always manages to catch the eye. Would love to find out what this object is??? Please let me no if you have any ideas.

Witness Statement: As with other sightings, a red dot appeared over houses in front of my home. It steadily rose higher and then went vertical in the sky till out of sight. I have taken pics which I will send separatley!

Witness Statement: I was watching one of the Dipper and these little dots appeared..... about 11-15 small dots the size of stars to the naked eye. They flew in a v-form, right inside the dipper..... they broke into a horizontal line and back to the v-form. I called my wife and we both watched in awe. Somebody else had to see this. They flew over the sky, it took about 1-2 minutes for us to lose sight of them, that's a long time of looking at dots. They just kept going and going....... until they flew completely out of sight...

England: Sale, Manchester - Very Bright White Light

Witness Statement: There has been a few clear nights in Manchester over the past couple of weeks. Enough to see the rings of Saturn from my scope.

Three friends and I actively look out for satellites in the sky so we have a good understanding of basic astronomy and what passes over head.

On the 22 May we saw a very bright glowing object (much brighter than a star) that traveled slowly from West to East. We initially thought it was a plane as sometimes at night time their lights can glare at you. Usually in these instances they fade away because they are no longer in your sight path.

Two mysterious objects recovered by the Kazakhstan Department of Emergency Situations in mid May are being said to be "fragments of some flight vehicle".

The two objects were said to have fallen from the sky as fireballs and originally reported to be 60 centimeters in diameter, about 24 inches. The most recent information, taken from www.rian.ru and translated from Russian claims "Two objects of ball-shaped form with a diameter approximately of 40 centimeters and with a weight of 10-12 kilograms" and that after being examined "some numbers" were found on at least one of the objects. Also added to the description "Outside these spheres were fused - they clearly underwent the action of high temperature, one of the spheres was torn, another - whole".

Comment:
Could similar fireball sightings have the same source as these objects and fireballs?
Maybe a few, but most are not. It would seem that someone, somewhere would like us to think that this is so, though.

US: Multiple UFO sightings reported yesterday in the Phoenix, Arizona area

Phoenix, Arizona - May 28, 2009

Witness was at work when he, and 20 other co-workers, observed fourteen disc-shaped objects high in the sky over Phoenix. The objects were stationary except for changing formations eight times. The objects did not move across the sky until about two hours later when the witnesses reported them moving quite fast, then coming to a stop before moving again until finally disappearing. The main witness stated he was a retired eighteen-year veteran of the military. He further stated that what he observed was not a weather balloon, as he had seen plenty in his lifetime while stationed around the world. He went on to say that these lights had intelligent movements about them and seemed to be changing formations every fifteen to twenty minutes. His entire crew of workers came to witness the objects and collectively claimed that the objects were very odd, and unlike anything they had ever seen.
