Scotland: Teacher spots UFO in sky over Hamilton

A primary school teacher has spoken of her amazement after spotting what she believes to be a UFO while out walking her dogs with her husband.

Penny Martin (52), of Little Earnock, spotted an unusual object in the sky on Saturday night about 10.15pm.

Penny described an orange-yellow object floating motionless above the houses near her home.

Statement: On the evening of April 6th, a ferocious earthquake rocked Italy, causing devastation, chaos and a significant loss of life. The earthquake measured in as high as 6.3 on the Richter scale, rocking the Earth near the city of Laquila in the Abruzzio region, which is just east of Rome.

At least ninety people fell victim to the natural disaster. One resident, Angela Palumbo, stated that she woke up hearing what sounded like a bomb. We managed to escape with things falling all around us.

US: UFO spotted from Chicago train

A witness reported video taping a UFO from his seat during the early morning along Chicago's Midway Orange Line on March 16, 2009, according to a report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The man was on the train at 5:34 a.m. when he saw what appeared to be an anomalous object moving through the sky.

US: Reports include 'morphing' UFOs over Mississippi

The UFO Traffic Report for Thursday, April 16, includes an unusual observation of 20 to 30 oval-shaped objects moving in a V-shape formation and then morphing as they crossed the Mississippi sky. Other sightings include six reports of disc, round, or circular objects, one diamond-shaped object, one triangular-shaped object, one bright light, and two descriptions of what might be fire balls, according to sightings filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Please keep in mind that many UFOs can be explained as something natural or manmade. Some of these cases are under investigation by MUFON. We will provide updates as they are available. All witness reports are unedited.

Puerto Rico: A Report on the Enigmatic April 13 Photo and UFO Sighting in Lajas

On April 13, 2009 I had the opportunity to speak to persons who claimed having photographed unidentified flying objects (UFOs). They spoke to us about sightings occurring in the vicinity of Ponce, Guánica, Cabo Rojo and Lajas, where unidentified objects have been reported in the past. We corroborated this information and found that some of the photos taken by our team showed a UFO in Lajas that was "parked" (stationary) over this district.

The object was a whitish-colored oval and no sounds could be heard. The object had no lights and was at a considerable altitude when photographed by a 5 megapixel Kodak camera with a 10 x digital zoom. Our team at the facility took another strange photograph where the Lajas aerostat (drug interdiction dirigible) is stationed. A mysterious box can be seen at the bottom of the photo.

UK: Appeal for Shropshire UFO sighting reports

A Shropshire UFO expert today issued an appeal for anyone who has spotted strange sightings in the sky to contact him. Phil Hoyle, who runs the UFO Investigation and Research unit, based in Shrewsbury, made the request following the latest sighting by Fredrick Kershaw, of Llansantffraid, as he travelled home from work.

Mr Kershaw was near Llanfechain when he saw the unusual sighting.

Mr Hoyle said Mr Kershaw was travelling home on February 26 at 5.50pm and had just turned on to the B4393 when he saw the UFO in his car's side window.

In what is a milestone and historic event for Brazilian ufology and for ufologists around the world Brazil's UFO community has gained access to previously classified top-secret UFO files.


Comment: Isn't it interesting how so many governments are now making previously classified top-secret UFO files available to the public?


The UFO community headed by the CBU or Commission of Brazilian Ufologists has been fighting for access to these files for over a year under freedom of information provisions and has emerged from this battle victorious.

The Government has previously released in stages various files on the topic depending on the level of their classification but has now released files on the most significant and highly classified UFO events, including the famous and most coveted file of all: the one pertaining to Brazil's own 'Roswell' incident, 'The Official Night of the UFOs'.

Recent sightings, where multiple objects have been observed, are on the rise. The following reports indicate that this phenomenon continues:

Brainerd, Minnesota - 4/14/2009

Witnesses were driving south on route 44 when they observed what appeared to be two separate objects traveling slowly from east to west. The objects were traveling close together, and the driver of the car pulled over to try to get a better look. The witnesses noticed that one of the objects was gone, while the remaining object continued in a westerly direction.

Villagers in the area around the city of Sibu in the Malaysian State of Sarawak on the island of Borneo got a real surprise when they looked up into the sky on January 17 2009.

They noticed a slightly luminous, bright pink disc travelling across the sky. 'We were standing in front of my home when I looked up and noticed something strange in the sky. At first we thought it might have been a meteor until we saw a second identical object move towards the first one' Noted Mr Ong. 'It was not flying in the manner of an airplane'.
