Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis stage torchlight march in Kiev to mark Nazi collaborator's birthday

Thousands of people with torches marched through Kiev on Sunday on the first day of the new year to honor Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera who collaborated with Nazis during WWII and actively participated in ethnic cleansings.

Bandera was born on January 1, 1909 and rallies celebrating his birthday recently became a sort of a tradition in the Ukrainian capital and other cities after the Euromaidan protests in 2014. They've since been staged with the blessing of the country's authorities, who declared the day a national holiday.

The participants of the march in Kiev carried torches, Bandera's portrait as well as flags of Ukraine and the country's nationalist and neo-Nazi organizations. Some came to the event with children.

Comment: This comes less than a week after a teenager was facing jail in Ukraine for buying a hat with a Soviet symbol on at a flea market. The police claimed that it breached 'strict local laws governing "the use of communist symbols on clothing."' - apparenlty these laws don't apply to celebrating Nazism. This is Ukraine following US 'intervention'.

Clash of the pseudo-realities: UK ex-doctors volunteering to help with Covid-19 vaccination blocked by mandatory diversity training & paperwork forest

Thousands of retired doctors and nurses volunteering to rejoin the UK's National Health Service during the pandemic are being forced to endure "diversity training" - but vaccination training is optional.

NHS veterans applying to return to the service are required to supply a whopping 21 pieces of evidence, the Daily Telegraph revealed on Wednesday, noting that the "red tape" had created a massive bottleneck in hiring with just 5,000 of over 40,000 doctors and nurses who applied for the positions starting in March had been hired by July.

A list of the requirements was posted to social media the same day, and the service's bizarre requests raised eyebrows across the country. In addition to standard requests like identity documents, proof of education, certification in such urgent-care basics as resuscitation, the NHS demands applicants complete courses in baffling subjects like "preventing radicalization" and "equality, diversity and human rights."

Even as hospitals complain of staffing shortages and job applicants tear their hair out at the number of hoops they're forced to jump through, the NHS has refused to budge on its requirements that doctors need not only be medically competent, but mentally compliant. Indeed, the service defended its "stringent recruitment process," arguing its goal was to "recruit a wide array of individuals from a variety of backgrounds - many of whom are not registered healthcare professionals."

Comment: When two pseudo-realities collide. Woke justice meets Covid hysteria.

Best of the Web: Expert analysis: Biden's win 'suspicious,' 289,000 election-changing 'excess' votes

An analysis of the 2020 presidential vote suggests that there were 289,000 "excess" votes for Joe Biden in states his victory over President Trump was small, and that differences in votes by neighbors were "suspicious."

The study by economist John R. Lott Jr., noted for his statistical analysis of guns in America, called into question the victories declared for Biden in Pennsylvania and Georgia and cast a cloud over those in Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Comment: So that's mass vote fraud - enough to flip the overall result from Biden to Trump - proven from yet ANOTHER angle.

A New York state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would allow the government to detain people deemed a potential public health risk, amid concerns that the Covid-19 crisis is being allegedly used to usher in authoritarianism.

Authored by a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly N. Nick Perry, Bill A416 calls for the "removal and/or detention" of individuals who are identified as a "case, contact or carrier" of a contagious disease.
Such person or group of persons shall be detained in a medical facility or other appropriate facility or premises.

Comment: The bill is all of a piece with Cuomo's previous actions. Unfortunately he has imitators all over the globe.

Glamour salon owner Lindsey Graham says governor 'terrorized' her family to 'intimidate' her into closing.

An Oregon salon owner who opened her business in defiance of the state's lockdown orders accused Gov. Kate Brown of "retaliating" against her family in a $100,000 lawsuit, which details the damages she sustained due to extended closures and exorbitant fines issued against her.

Glamour Salon owner Lindsey Graham reopened her salon in May and received a fine of $14,000 from the state. Graham claimed that Brown began to personally "terrorize" her family, and threatened to place her children under the care of Child Protective Services to "intimidate" her into closing her salon doors.

Piers Corbyn announces bid for mayor & performs fire-breathing act at lockdown protest party in London

Piers Corbyn, a prominent anti-lockdown activist and brother of Labour's ex-leader, has violated anti-coronavirus measures again and taken part in a restriction-defying party in London, announcing his bid for the city's mayor.

Multiple gatherings in violation of the UK's strict anti-coronavirus rules took place across the English capital overnight. While some were merely New Year celebrations, other 'parties' carried quite a political charge as well.

A massive gathering, dubbed the NYE Party of Parties, was staged by Piers Corbyn along the South Bank. The event attracted over 1,000 people, united in defying the coronavirus restrictions, the activist has claimed.

Brits could face crippling New Year tax rises to pay for huge lockdown bill

UK lockdown christmas
A meeting on moving more areas into Tier 4 is taking place this morning
The two camps are split over whether to balance the books and pay off the coronavirus debt quickly with tax rises and austerity or to cut taxes and hope for a longer term solution with economic growth. A source close to the Prime Minister has told the Sunday Express that there is "little room for manoeuvre" and that the coronavirus bailout packages and impact on the economy mean the public finances "are shot". The source suggested that there "may be little choice" but to raise taxes to start paying off the public debt.

"We have to balance the books," the source added.

But another insider has made it clear that a number of senior ministers now believe that the country will need a tax cut to recover.

"We have to treat this money [coronavirus rescue package] as a one off and not try to claw it back all at once," the minister said.

Comment: All of the above proposals appear to be based on life getting back to a semblance of normal, but, as it is, there's no sign that the lockdowns are over, and in the end the sum needed to be paid back is likely to soar even higher.

Ultimately, however, it seems that this manufactured crisis and the coming measures are intended to serve a nefarious agenda, such as 'The Great Reset', and so it's likely that any future policy, including tax hikes, will be designed around enforcing this 'new normal', which does not have the best interests of the average citizen at heart:

Ravers at an underground, curfew-busting New Year's Eve party that drew at least 2,500 people in western France attacked the police sent to shut them down, torching one police vehicle and injuring officers with volleys of bottles and stones, officials said Friday.

Ravers aboard hundreds of vehicles started converging on a hangar in Lieuron, Brittany, on Thursday night to party into the New Year, the regional government said Friday. It said police were attacked when they tried to stop ravers from installing their party gear.

On Friday morning, 2,500 ravers from France and abroad were still partying, circled by a reinforced police presence, the regional government said.

Comment: And in London police were also deployed to shutdown NYE parties:
