Orthodox rabbis call on US universities to suspend diversity programs

© AP Photo/Gerry Broome, Filethe entrance to the main Duke University campus in Durham, N.C. CJV recently condemned the Duke University student government's decision to deny recognition to a pro-Israel student group, claiming that the move demonstrated a "despicable double standard" on "Jew-hatred."
A coalition that represents more than 2,000 Orthodox rabbis on American public policy issues is demanding that American universities abandon their "diversity, equity and inclusion" (DEI) efforts in the wake of a report showing that DEI leaders often promote antisemitism.

"With antisemitic incidents rising at an alarming rate, using Israel as a convenient facade, universities must ensure their diversity efforts include protection of Jewish students," Rabbi Yaakov Menken, managing director of the Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), told Fox News. "Instead they have appointed foxes to guard the proverbial hen house."

Comment: Menkin's handwringing, nor his 'whataboutism' notwithstanding, the actions of the Israeli government do fit the definition of colonial apartheid, as found by many human rights groups. His energy might be better employed in focusing on changing Israel's policies that bring the accusations down it its head. Getting Israel to stop claiming it represents 'all Jews' would be a big help too, if he feels he is being personally tarnished by those accusations.

New study reveals scale of bribery in Russian state contracts

bribe
Russian businesses bidding for public sector contracts are forced to shell out vast quantities of cash in order to win major deals, a new study conducted by researchers at one of the country's top universities has revealed.

The research, involving more than 1,200 company representatives surveyed by the Higher School of Economics (HSE) and made available to Moscow business daily outlet RBK on Monday, found that 71% of suppliers had encountered corruption during tendering processes. The average kickback is estimated to be around 22.5% of the contract's total value.

Comment: Russia is trying to deal with the situation. But it is a deep-rooted problem, stemming not only from the endemic corruption of the Soviet regime, but the environment of lawlessness unleashed by the West's economic looting during the 90s after the breakup of the country.

Brother of former UK Labour leader arrested for 'inciting violence'

Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's brother Piers has been arrested for allegedly calling for the offices of pro-lockdown MPs to be burnt down during a protest against vaccination mandates in Westminster.

Corbyn was arrested in Southwark, London on Sunday at 1.45am local time, according to The Guardian, which cited Metropolitan police sources. Police had previously mentioned they were investigating a video in which the anti-lockdown protest leader appeared to be advocating arson.

The brother of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn can be seen on the video, shot at Saturday's protest outside Downing Street Informing his audience that there are websites with lists of MPs who fit that description calling on supporters to
"hammer to death those scum who have decided to go ahead with introducing new fascism. Go to their offices and — well, I would recommend burning them down, but I can't say that on air."
Audience members laugh in response, suggesting the remark was not made in seriousness, but Corbyn appears to realize he's gone too far, repeating, "I hope we're not on air." Corbyn also calls for anti-mandate protesters to
"get a bit more physical. Take down these lying vaccinators and we've got to take down these lying MPs."

Comment: Piers Corbyn is a veteran protester, an undaunted nay voice to the shenanigans and mandates of the deeply flawed governance in Britain.

Man gets 46 months on U.S. Capitol riot charges, among the longest sentences yet

A Washington state man who pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer during the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol on Monday received a sentence of almost four years in prison, one of the longest yet for Jan. 6 defendant.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth in the District of Columbia sentenced Devlyn Thompson, who struck an officer with a baton, to 46 months in prison.

Thompson, who has been detained since pleading guilty in August, will receive credit for time already served behind bars.

Prosecutors had requested four years for Thompson, saying in a court filing that "a 48-month sentence would reflect the gravity of Thompson's actions after having joined a violent mob at the U.S. Capitol, while also acknowledging his exceptionally early cooperation and admission of guilt."

Comment: So, among the most violent crimes prosecuted involve hurling a fire extinguisher at officers and striking an officer with a baton. For some reason, there seems a misalignment of what actually happened with the 'violent insurrection' that is so often discussed.

Closing arguments had wrapped up in federal court in Manhattan earlier on Monday with a simple, chilling message.

House Republicans are preparing an all-out offensive against the Biden administration in the event they win back the majority in the 2022 midterm elections, a new report claimed on Sunday.

Multiple opinion polls combined with Democrats' lackluster performance in this year's races point to a potential red wave come November, threatening President Joe Biden's chances of holding on to a slim majority in Congress.

GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy is planning to send out preservation notices to several departments within the administration in preparation for a slew of investigations to take up the second half of Biden's first term, Axios reported.

A truck hit a US military vehicle on the autobahn. While no US military personnel were injured the driver of the truck that struck the military vehicles was likely killed.

A semi-truck accidentally rammed into a US military vehicle on the autobahn in Bavaria on Monday, German police said.

The driver of the truck involved in the accident was reportedly killed on scene.

The US military said there were no injuries "at this time" among US service members, though eight soldiers were brought to the hospital for screening out of an abundance of caution, the 7th Army Training Command spokesman Donald Wrenn said.

Comment: The US military are still in Germany. However, considering Germany's current blockage of the Nord Stream II pipeline, its pretty clear that its sovereignty really is compromised:

White House ripped for doomsday winter message of 'severe illness and death' for unvaccinated people

President Biden

The White House was viciously mocked over the weekend after pushing the message that unvaccinated Americans would experience a winter of "severe illness and death" due to the omicron variant of the coronavirus.

President Biden, as well as White House COVID response coordinator Jeff Zients, each pushed the messaging last week, with the former issuing the stark and gloomy warning to Americans following a Thursday White House briefing on the pandemic.

"I want to send a direct message to the American people: Due to the steps we've taken, omicron has not yet spread as fast as it would have otherwise done," Biden said.

"But it's here now, and it's spreading, and it's going to increase ... We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated - for themselves, their families and the hospitals they'll soon overwhelm," he added. "But there's good news: If you're vaccinated, and you have your booster shot, you're protected from severe illness and death."

Eastport-South Manor Central School District (ESM) in Suffolk County, New York sent out an email to all parents informing them about the new physician in their district. The new hiring was part of the new regulations regarding Sudden Cardiac Arrest of students Grades K- 12.

The Gateway Pundit obtained a copy of the email where the ESM stated that there's a new regulation where all districts are now required to ensure that nurses and coaches can address the treatment and monitoring of students who exhibit signs and symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest.

Comment: They know about the dangers of mRNA vaccines especially in children and they are preparing the terrain so they can handle with cardiac arrests in young children. Cardiac arrests are not a normal thing that happens to children.

Parents should ask themselves what is going on,take care for the safety of their children and get them out of these schools. All these psychopaths at the positions of power in the government obviously don't care and they are just following the sick PTB agenda.

In addition, districts are required to make sure that all staff are aware of the warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest and what to do if a person experiences sudden cardiac arrest, the email continued.
