A man in black bloc behaving suspiciously near a right-wing rally outside the Pinellas County Courthouse in Florida on Jan. 6 was apprehended by deputies after he tried fleeing on foot. Garrett James Smith, 22, was arrested and found carrying an active pipe bomb, Antifa propaganda and a written document on what to bring for his direct action. He had recently returned from Portland, Ore.

"He was running fast, he was running away from something," Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said at a press conference on Friday.

U-Haul reports people fleeing California and Illinois for Texas and Florida

u haul moving california shortage
U-Haul's annual report for 2021 showed people are heading to Texas and Florida more than any other state while leaving California and Illinois.

The report is indicative of migration trends across the United States and Canada. With more than 23,000 rental locations that use about 176,000 trucks, 126,000 trailers, and 46,000 towing devices, U-Haul said it ran out of inventory in California.

The report showed that of the more than 2 million one-way rental transactions, the Lone Star State earned the top spot for growth.

Comment: Left completely out of the discussion is the fact that relocators are moving from the most restrictive Covid states to the least. Florida is probably the only state where one can live, 'as before', with Texas not far behind.

(R) University of Pennsylvania’s Lia Thomas had caused controversy for shattering multiple records at women’s swim meets and wiping out opponents.
Transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas was crushed twice in a women's swim meet by another transgender competitor who is transitioning from female to male - first in the 100-yard freestyle, where she placed fifth, and then again in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Competing against Ivy League rivals Dartmouth and Yale, Thomas won the first of her four races by just two seconds - one month after she shattered two women's records with a 38-second margin against her closest competitor. She also narrowly won the 500-yard freestyle by a second, with bystanders telling DailyMail.com that she seemed to be 'coasting' and 'barely trying'.

But stunned parents at the meet held at UPenn's pool in Philadelphia gasped as Yale swimmer Iszac Henig easily beat out his opponents in the women's 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.57 seconds. Thomas finished fifth with a time of 52.84 seconds.

An NHS doctor has challenged Sajid Javid over compulsory vaccines for healthcare workers, telling the health secretary: "I've not had a vaccination; I don't want to have a vaccination."

The scene, which was caught by Sky News cameras, was first broadcast on Friday after Javid visited King's College hospital in south London. It has been shared extensively on social media by both critics and supporters of vaccine mandates.

Comment: Dr. Steve James has posted a video update on Instagram which was then shared on Twitter:

Ikea slashes sick pay for unvaccinated staff to lowest amount allowed by law

IKEA
Furniture giant Ikea has slashed sick pay entitlement for some unvaccinated staff forced to self-isolate after close contact with someone infected with Covid, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

The move means unvaccinated workers, who are required by the Government to isolate for 10 days after close contact, could receive as little as £96.35 a week under Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) obligations, a legal minimum.

That compares with the average pay for Ikea shopfloor staff of £10.10 an hour outside London and £11.30 in the capital - the equivalent of £404 and £452 for an average working week.

Comment: This is yet another route to which the government, in league with corporations - also known as fascism - is working to coerce as many people as possible into suffering the experimental jabs; or, as France's Macron put it: "When it comes to the non-vaccinated, I'm very keen to pi** them off. So we're going to do it, the end. That's our strategy.": Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: NAZI Redux - Covid Camps in Australia, Mandatory Vaccinations in EU

England's farmers to be paid to 'rewild' land, despite soaring food costs & supply issues

© dpe123/Getty/iStockphotoFarmers in areas such as Dartmoor in Devon, where there is a significant rewilding campaign, will be invited to bid for 10-15 pilot projects.
Farmers in England will be given taxpayers' cash to rewild their land, under plans for large-scale nature recovery projects announced by the government. These will lead to vast tracts of land being newly managed to conserve species, provide habitats for wildlife and restore health to rivers and streams.

Bids are being invited for 10-15 pilot projects, each covering at least 500 hectares and up to 5,000 hectares, to a total of approximately 10,000 hectares in the first two-year phase - about 10 times the size of Richmond Park in London. These pilots could involve full rewilding or other forms of management that focus on species recovery and wildlife habitats.

Rare fauna such as sand lizards, water voles and curlews will be targeted, with the aim of improving the status of about half of the most threatened species in England.

Comment: In general, few disagree that a balance between human thriving and the protection of the natural world needs to be sought, but it's becoming apparent that the vast majority of humanity is going to be thrown into abject poverty so that the establishment can achieve its, ostensibly, environmentalist goals: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Is The Government Hyping Shortages? 73% of Bosnians reject Covid jabs, ignore lockdown & quarantine restrictions

mask bosnia Sarajevo
Women wearing face masks walk on the street in Sarajevo last month. By December 11 2020.
Bosnia's rate of vaccination against the coronavirus is one of the lowest in Europe, but one population in the Balkan country has bucked the national trend: its prison inmates.

Comment: It's telling how few articles there are covering Bosnia's nationwide rejection of the Covid jabs and lockdown restrictions. One would suppose that if the official narrative were true, then surely the international media would want to make an example of Bosnia's failings. However, like Sweden, Florida, and the few other regions that have, against all odds, been able to resist the globally coordinated lockdown agenda, it seems that Bosnia exposes the manufactured crisis for what it is.

Despite the stunningly Orwellian spin on this article, what it really reveals is how the people of Europe share a lot in common with the prison inmates of Bosnia; a great many suffered the jab not because they felt they needed it, but because, without it, their lives would be insufferably difficult.

Which is exactly the intended effect of the restrictions, as France's Macron said recently: "When it comes to the non-vaccinated, I'm very keen to pi** them off. So we're going to do it, the end. That's our strategy.'

Over 80% of the 2,000 men and women serving sentences in Bosnia's 13 prisons have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. That compares to slightly over 27% for the nation as a whole, a rate that results from a lack of takers, not an absence of shots.

Comment: Some of the propaganda coming out of the West is truly jaw-dropping, and it seems that there are a number of reasons for that: See also: And check out SOTT radio's: MindMatters: Interview with Rod Dreher: How to Survive the Coming Soft Totalitarianism

'I see it coming': Mandatory vaccinations on the horizon, federal health minister says

Minister of Health Jean-Yves Duclos
© REUTERS/Blair GableMinister of Health Jean-Yves Duclos takes part in a news conference, as the Omicron variant emerges as a threat, in Ottawa, on January 5, 2022.
Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos said he believes mandatory vaccinations will happen in Canada.

Duclos signalled Friday that provincial governments should be discussing mandatory vaccinations, saying it is a conversation that has to happen as unvaccinated patients continue to put strain on hospitals.

Asked about mandatory vaccination, he said in French, "I personally think we will get there at some point."

According to a translation on CBC, he added, "I see it coming personally. Not now. I don't think we are there yet. But I think discussions need to be had about mandatory vaccinations because we have to get rid of Covid 19."

Duclos told a press conference that any decision would be in the hands of provincial governments, but he said the unvaccinated were creating a sizeable burden on others.

"What we see now is that our health care system in Canada is fragile. Our people are tired and the only way as we know through COVID-19, be it this variant or any future variant, is through vaccination," he said.

The Ministry of Truth's War on "Misinformation"

Above is my lazily Photoshopped approximation of my childhood poster
"Free inquiry on a free platform is the only practice that distinguishes a free from a slave society."

Milton Mayer, They Thought They Were Free: The Germans, 1933-45
When I was little, I had a poster of a raccoon with his paw over a kitten's mouth saying, "If there's anything I can't stand, it's someone talking while I'm interrupting."

I was notorious for interrupting, asking questions, and getting so lost in thought, my mom had an ear doctor test my hearing because I was constantly saying, "What?"

That poster came to mind as I watched the Ministry of Truth campaign against "misinformation" first roll out. Today's version of that poster would say, "If there's anything I can't stand, it's someone's information contradicting my disinformation."

HUGE protests erupt across Europe against Covid vaccine mandates & lockdowns

Austria protest
A furious woman shouts as she gestures at riot police in Vienna, Austria on Saturday, January 8
The French government has confirmed that some of the draconian restrictions imposed on British travellers are set to be eased as anti-lockdown protests erupt in Europe for another weekend.

Members of the French ministerial cabinet agreed to lift certain travel rules designed to prevent Brits from travelling into the country earlier this week as Omicron tightened its grip on France with over 330,000 new Covid cases recorded.

Comment: It's telling that the best they can come up with is 'cases'. If it meant anything, they wouldn't be relaxing the travel ban.

Gabriel Attal, spokesperson for the French Government, confirmed that the list of reasons for which UK travellers would be permitted entry into France would be expanded to now also allow in-person work to be completed in the country.
