A New York City property owner recently ended up in handcuffs following a fiery standoff with alleged squatters who she has been trying to boot from her family's home, tense footage shows.

Adele Andaloro, 47, was nabbed after changing the locks last month on the $1 million home in Flushing, Queens, that she says she inherited from her parents when they died, ABC's Eyewitness News reported.

"It's enraging," the homeowner said of the squatter saga.

Comment: It's time for New York City to change their laws around squatters. 30 days is a ridiculously short amount of time to establish squatters rights, as the recent rash of home-stealing can attest. These laws seem designed to favor criminals working the system.

Israeli propagandist behind Hamas 'mass rape' narrative exposed as grifter, fraud

elkayam-levy
Cochav Elkayam-Levy, the Israeli lawyer at the center of the campaign accusing Hamas of systematic sexual violence on October 7, now stands accused by Israeli media of scamming donors and spreading misinformation. The allegations appeared just days after Elkayam-Levy received the prestigious Israel Prize.

As the founder of the so-called Civil Commission on October 7th Crimes by Hamas against Women and Children, Israel lawyer Cochav Elkayam Levy has been a go-to source for Western media organizations pushing the narrative that Palestinian militants carried out sexual assault on a massive and systematic basis when they attacked Israel.

Elkayam-Levy has starred in a factually challenged CNN special on the topic narrated by the fervently pro-Israel host Jake Tapper, who identified her as "an expert in human rights law who organized a civil committee to document evidence." Haaretz featured Elkayam-Levy as the subject of a puff piece which misleadingly claimed that her work "presents a horrifying picture that leaves no room for doubt: On October 7, Hamas terrorists systematically carried out acts of rape and sexual abuse."

Then, on December 6, 2023, members of the White House National Security Council and Assistant to the President and Director of the Gender Policy Council Jennifer Klein hosted Elkayam-Levy in Washington to hear "about her work to gather testimony and document evidence of the events of October 7 and develop a comprehensive accounting of gender-based violence committed by Hamas."

Billionaire Disney foe Nelson Peltz questions 'woke' Marvel films

Nelson Peltz, the activist investor agitating to win two Disney board seats, criticized the company's "woke" strategy — specifically questioning Marvel's "Black Panther" and "The Marvels," which featured Black and women leads, respectively.

The 81-year-old Peltz, who has admitted he "never claimed" to have experience in the media business, made the comments about "The Marvels" and "Black Panther" in a recent interview with the Financial Times. "Why do I have to have a Marvel [movie] that's all women?" Peltz asked rhetorically. "Not that I have anything against women, but why do I have to do that? Why can't I have Marvels that are both? Why do I need an all-Black cast?"

"Black Panther" does not have an all-Black cast, nor does "The Marvels" have an all-female cast.

"Black Panther," starring Chadwick Boseman, was a bona fide blockbuster, reaping $1.35 billion at the worldwide box office, while 2023's "The Marvels" was a flop with a $206 million total haul. (The earlier 2019 "Captain Marvel" starring Brie Larson in the title role grossed $1.13 billion.)

NHS puts trans teens at 'risk of irreversible harm', warns gender clinic head

NHS England (NHSE) is putting trans teenagers at "unreasonable risk of irreversible harm", the head of a gender clinic will warn in a legal battle over treatment.

Two mothers are suing the health service over concerns that as soon as a teenager turns 17, they can transfer to adult gender clinics and be fast-tracked to surgery and sex-change drugs.

This is despite a recent crackdown on treatment for under-18s, including a ban on puberty blockers and a guarantee of assessment of underlying mental-health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism before treatment is given for gender issues.

The mothers, who both have "vulnerable" teenage daughters seeking sex-change surgery, are now taking the case to the High Court in an attempt to force NHSE to guarantee the same protections at adult clinics.

Comment: What else is there to say? This is a horrific practice that would never exist in a healthy society.

France deploys 4000 MORE soldiers across nation, claim it's in response to terror attack in Moscow

After the recent terrorist attack in Moscow, France has announced the deployment of an additional 4000 soldiers to guard busy locations and buildings across the country, as reported by NOS. Prime Minister Gabriel Attal made this announcement in response to the recent attack, which was claimed by the Islamic State.

Comment: That claim, much purported by the West, and, suspiciously, even before an investigation had been performed, has been shown to be incorrect. Both the evidence and reason point to an attack coordinated by the West and Ukraine.

These 4000 extra troops will supplement the 3000 soldiers already mobilized yesterday as part of the anti-terror operation Sentinel. They will be tasked with securing various sites including stations, schools, religious buildings, and theaters. The additional forces will be rapidly deployable for immediate response to imminent threats.

Remind, the threat level in France has been raised to the highest level, according to President Macron, who also revealed that the Islamic State has made multiple attempts to carry out attacks in France in recent months, two of which were thwarted.

Comment: Is this because they have genuine concerns, or are they hijacking the terror attack in Russia to stoke more fear in the public, and perhaps get them used to troops on the streets?

Of note is how during the last Christmas period Germany increased its security presence: Terror attack concerns cause Austria and Germany to tighten security, churchgoers face checks at Cologne Cathedral

Ukrainian bar mocks deadly Moscow concert hall attack

A bar in Kiev, known for its highly politicized and controversial menu, is now selling a new snack set ridiculing the Crocus City Hall massacre that left over 130 dead.

The 'art-bar' Ofenziva ('Offensive'), located in Kiev, has introduced a new item to its controversial menu, mocking the deadly weekend terrorist attack on Moscow's Crocus City concert hall. The attack has claimed the lives of at least 133 people, though the search for victims is still ongoing and the death toll is expected to grow even further.

The establishment advertises itself as "the first meme-military art bar" in Kiev in an allusion to online meme warfare. It serves as a platform for various performers, most of whom exhibit nationalist views.

Comment: One should be wary of a restaurant with humor in such poor taste. It likely doesn't bode well for the food.

World's population forecast to fall for first time since the Black Death

black death
Global fertility rates hit an historic tipping point and are unlikely to recover, experts say
The world population is expected to fall for the first time since the Black Death because of plummeting birth rates, a Lancet study has found.

The decline in the number of children women are having has started to slow the growth of the global population, which stands at just over eight billion, and could mean it starts to fall within decades.

It would be the first time that the number of people on the planet has decreased since the Black Death bubonic plague pandemic killed as many as 50 million people in the mid-1300s, including up to a third of the population in Europe.

Comment: With the WEF threatening the world that 'Disease X' is just around the corner, and the very real fact that vast swathes of the Western world are suffering from poor health - more so following 2 years of lockdowns and the experimental covid vaccines - coupled with looming food shortages and economic collapse, it does seem as though population decline (at least in some regions) is inevitable; however, historically, despite the tragedy, it seems that such times are also followed by relatively dramatic revitalization, too: Britain's peasant houses and the Black Death building boom
One of the economic impacts of the Black Death and climate deterioration from the 1340s was to make more land available; population decline meant that those who survived were in demand as agricultural labourers, able to sell their services for hard cash, rather than land or kind. Peasant landholdings doubled in size in the period 1380 to 1540, enabling peasants to produce a surplus for sale in local markets. Many peasants were also able to supplement their income from pursuing such occupations as mining or fishing, or working as artisans or traders. Initially weak and vulnerable, surviving on a subsistence diet of very basic foods, peasants were increasingly able to afford better clothing, tools, utensils, and foodstuffs after the difficult decades of the mid-14th century.

Police post photos of suspects with Lego heads to protect IDs under new California law

Getting arrested is no child's play — except for these California cops.

The Murrieta Police Department has been posting hilarious arrest and lineup photos with suspects' faces replaced by Lego heads to comply with a woke state law protecting offenders' rights.

Images on the department's Instagram page show the Lego blocks with a variety of facial expressions — crying, frowning, smirking or raging — digitally superimposed onto the bodies of people being busted.

One appears to show two people handcuffed in the back of a squad car — with the Lego face on one angrily looking at the other, whose toy head is crying.

Another shows five people in a lineup — completely unrecognizable because of the toy heads.

The delusional feminist power fantasy relies on male charity and tolerance

feminist protest
These days we hear a lot about the concept of the "male power fantasy," usually in reference to accusations of "toxic masculinity." In other words, feminists and woke activists argue that the male power fantasy is a social construct that makes men aggressive, and masculine aggression is supposedly the cause of most of society's ills.

I would point out, however, that we don't really see men talking about or obsessing much over power these days. Instead, it's women (mostly feminists) blithering incessantly about power, institutional power, imbalances in power and how much they want power. If I was to guess by their rantings at the root principle that inspires all of feminism it wouldn't be "equality", it would be the thirst for power.

It's also important to understand that the female power fantasy looks distinctly and darkly different from the average male power fantasy and this is why so many people remain skeptical of women in authority. All we have to do is look at how they express their desires in fiction.

If one studies the archetypal ideals of the hero's journey (a hallmark of the male power fantasy), what we almost always find are stories of self sacrifice. Power for most men is meant to be used in service to others; to protect and to provide for those who cannot protect themselves. This symbolism is found everywhere in literature, television and movies centered on powerful and popular male figures. Rather than being "toxic," men are compelled by their inherent relationship to power to achieve something greater for all the people around them.

Comment: Throughout history, bands of men hunted together and fought together. They needed to develop the ability to cooperate well in groups, to self-organize in the manner best suited for the task at hand, and they needed to be inspired to do so, both for their own survival and the survival of their families. The particular pro-sociality of men is built into their very nature, and the anti-social is a deviation from the norm. As Smith notes above, this is built into all of humanity's greatest and most resonant stories. Maybe it's that way for a reason. And maybe the problems feminists see are either a generalization based on the anti-social exception, or a projection of their own deranged mentality.

Transgender teen sent to prison for killing 12-year-old girl

An 18-year-old transgender woman in the US state of Pennsylvania, who fatally shot a young girl and then confessed to the crime on Instagram, has been sentenced to up to 40 years behind bars, local prosecutors announced on Thursday.

Ash Cooper, known as Joshua Cooper at the time of the 2022 murder in Bensalem Township, began transitioning after the arrest. Cooper, who was then 16, told the police that he and the victim - 12-year-old Morgan Connors - were in a sexual relationship.

"Ash Cooper, who previously went by Joshua Cooper, pled guilty Thursday to third-degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence," Buck's County District Attorney's office said in a statement.

"Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey L. Finley sentenced Cooper to 15 to 40 years in state prison and a consecutive sentence of seven years of probation," the DA office added.

The perpetrator was also ordered to undergo a psychological and psychiatric evaluation.

Comment: No one in the mainstream wants to talk about it: there is a significant link between transgender ideation and personality dysfunction.
