People using Covid-19 as fake 'attacks' face biological weapons hoax charges

Accidentally spreading Covid-19 is wanting grandma dead, say opponents of ending lockdowns. Yet activists now worry that proposed laws to punish those who threaten to spread it deliberately would discriminate against minorities.

A Florida man spat and coughed on a police officer responding to a domestic violence call, and faces up to five years in prison on a federal charge of biological weapons hoax (he was negative for Covid-19). Another man in Texas, who falsely claimed on Facebook that he paid someone to spread the virus at local grocery stores, was charged with the same thing. A Michigan man who wiped his face with a store employee's shirt might get three months in jail and a $500 fine for misdemeanor assault and battery.

These are just some of the recent incidents across the US highlighted by Reuters, as Covid-19 lockdowns - originally intended to last for two weeks - have stretched to two months, with some jurisdictions saying they want to extend them indefinitely.

Comment: This isn't about racial discrimination and it is certainly not comparable to intentionally spreading AIDS. COVID-19 has a mortality rate below 1%! It's nothing like AIDS. In any case, the issue here is the hysteria surrounding this fake pandemic. Those doing these hoaxes are dumb, but the punishment does not fit the crime. The real agenda here seems to impose greater and greater draconian measures on society.

CNN's teen panelist Thunberg begs world to 'listen to the experts' on coronavirus - collective eye-rolling ensues

Greta Thunberg sparked controversy after telling CNN viewers to follow the guidance of experts as the world combats coronavirus - even as the teen panelist admitted she's not an authority on the health crisis.

CNN came under fire after announcing that the Swedish teen would participate in a Covid-19 town-hall event hosted by Anderson Cooper and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr Sanjay Gupta. Critics of the decision to include Thunberg argued that the climate activist was not qualified to speak about the pandemic.

Judging by Thunberg's remarks during the discussion, it appears she at least partly agrees with her detractors.

Comment: CNN is only a few gaffes away from confirming their complete irrelevance. A few more choice comments on Ms. Thunberg's appearance:

Hey, Google, your censorship of 'Plandemic' only turned its author's book into #1 bestseller. It's the Streisand effect, stupid!

Judy Mikovits

The increasingly heavy-handed restrictions used by the likes of Facebook and YouTube are backfiring. Their suppression of Dr Judy Mikovits' 'Plandemic' film has simply made her books soar to No. 1 in the bestseller charts.

Attempts by the tech giants of Silicon Valley to stop the spread of 'misinformation' by pulling down a Covid-19 documentary are starting to make the planet's botched attempts to contain coronavirus look successful.

There are few certainties in life, and even fewer during these difficult times in which we find ourselves. Although the infamous troublesome twosome of 'death and taxes' are having something of a field day at the moment, the certainty I would like to discuss is the depressingly constant presence of censorship and, specifically, how spectacularly counterproductive it is. This has recently been demonstrated most effectively by Silicon Valley's attempts to stop 'wrong-thinking' people from using their platforms to spread their message.

Comment: Considering then just how spectacularly this latest round of censorship has backfired, one wonders if it wasn't the goal to begin with in the way that James Corbett outlines here. Essentially giving the alternative media and counter-COVID thinkers enough rope to hang themselves. If and when the information overlords decide to put in place a full lockdown of the internet they could justify it by saying they need to stop the spread of all heterodox information sharing because it lead to a second or third wave of COVID-related deaths. For that we'll have to wait and see, but it's not beyond their methods or means. In the meantime, readers can judge for themselves whether 'Plandemic' and Dr Judy Mikovits' censorship was warranted:

My Israeli nemesis is moving to America

Gilad Erdan
Gilad Erdan speaks during a February 2019 press conference announcing a Ministry of Strategic Affiars report on the BDS movement.
My first run in with Israeli politician Gilad Erdan took place on July 1, 2018, when I arrived at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, passport and visa in hand. After seven hours of interrogation, I was told that Erdan had had my visa revoked and was sending me directly back to the U.S. "We prevented Ariel Gold, an extreme boycott activist, from entering the country," he pompously tweeted.

Now my nemesis is moving to America. On Monday May 11, Erdan was appointed by Netanyahu to become the next ambassador to both the United States and United Nations.

To be fair, I am far from the first or most important person to be denied entry to Israel by Gilad Erdan. Erdan led the charge to deport Human Rights Watch's Omar Shakir was the same politician denied entry to Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar in August 2019. Still, back in 2018, he found the time to publicize his gripe against me. "Gold distributed videos on social networks, in which she harasses IDF soldiers and Border Police officers in Hebron, accusing the soldiers of apartheid and oppression, and that their actions do not conform to Jewish values," he told the media.

'Worse than it looks': More than 1 million workers have hours cut in Australia

Australia

The official 6.2 per cent unemployment rate conceals the full pain being felt by workers and the damage that COVID-19 restrictions have done to the economy.

The "devastating" stress in the labour market that Prime Minister Scott Morrison speaks of is exposed by the number of hours worked falling twice as fast as the decline in the number of people employed.

Of the 2.7 million individual workers affected by job losses or reduced hours in April, 1.8 million people worked fewer hours, including 750,000 who were still employed but worked no hours at all, the Australian Bureau of Statistics estimates.

Comment: The damage wrought by the unjustified and tyrannical lockdowns has only just begun to be revealed:

There is no evidence lockdowns saved lives. It is indisputable they caused great harm

america US quarantine
The US has a little more than 4% of the world population. Yet, throughout the end of April and through mid-May, the US claimed to have about a third of the reported coronavirus cases and a quarter to a third of reported death worldwide. What accounts for these amazing numbers?

By any measure, the US has a much better healthcare system than the Philippines (PI). The country has about a third of the US population, at 106.7 million. Just to pick a date, on May 12, 2020 the PI reported 11,086 cases and 726 deaths, according to Worldometer. This represents 213 cases per million residents, and 7 per million deaths. The US reported 4,187 cases per million, and 247 deaths per million, 20 and 30 times higher than the PI. The PI also had variable lockdowns, as did the US, with Manila reportedly facing the strictest measures, similar to some areas in the US.

One obvious difference in numbers is the level of testing. The US surely carried out testing more assiduously than did the PI. The same site claimed the US carried out 29 thousand tests per million, with only 1,600 per million in the PI. But with lower deaths, a country needs fewer tests.

Talking creates lingering droplets in air that might spread coronavirus - study

A new report published Wednesday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that loud speech can cause particles, which may contain the COVID-19 coronavirus, to escape from a person's mouth and remain in the air for as long as 14 minutes.

The study, which was conducted by researchers at the US National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases and the University of Pennsylvania, used a laser to determine the number of respiratory droplets released through human speech. The researchers found that just one minute of loud speaking releases at least 1,000 droplets that can linger for as long as 14 minutes, possibly carrying the coronavirus.

"Highly sensitive laser light scattering observations have revealed that loud speech can emit thousands of oral fluid droplets per second," the report concluded, adding that researchers' observations confirmed "that there is a substantial probability that normal speaking causes airborne virus transmission in confined environments."

Comment: Is this really news? Everyone knows that when you're hanging out with a sick person you're going to be exposed to that sickness. Trying to mitigate exposure is basically a fool's game (masks included). Viruses are everywhere. Keeping the best defense against infections, your immune system, in tip top shape is the only viable strategy. While this study itself may be valid in and of itself, its promotion in the media is nothing more than fear porn.

Montenegro police arrest 60 protesters after clashes over detention of Orthodox priests

Montenegro police used teargas against protesters demanding the release of Serbian Orthodox Church priests detained for violating Covid-19 restrictions. Demonstrators claim the arrests were part of a wider crackdown on the Church.

The people's anger was caused by the arrest of Serbian Orthodox Church Bishop Joanikije and several priests who led a religious procession amid a ban on public gatherings in the town of Niksic on Tuesday. The protests broke out late on Wednesday in several cities in the small Balkan state, which split from Serbia in 2006.

Videos from the protests captured violent scenes, showing a group of around a dozen policemen in full riot gear attacking a single demonstrator with batons and the crowd fleeing from the tear gas. Law enforcement also used stun grenades against the demonstrators, In4s website reported.

Woman in Stormtrooper costume attacked by idiot police for carrying plastic gun at Star Wars-themed restaurant

stormtrooper costumed arrest
An investigation has been launched after a woman dressed as a stormtrooper to promote a restaurant on Star Wars day (4 May) was thrown to the ground by police for carrying a 'firearm' which turned out to be a toy gun.

Police in Canada have launched an internal investigation after police officers threw a woman wearing a Star Wars stormtrooper costume to the ground and bloodying her before handcuffing her on suspicion that she was carrying a gun on May 4th. However, the "firearm" was actually a toy modeled on the blaster guns carried by the iconic Imperial villains.

May the fourth is known among fans of George Lucas' as Star Wars Day. The catchphrase of the occasion, "May the Fourth be with you," is a pun on the saga's beloved catchphrase, "May the Force be with you."

Coco Vanilla Galactic Cantina, a pizza and donair kebab restaurant themed on the series located in Lethbridge, Alberta, hoped to use the unofficial holiday to promote itself.

Restaurant owner Bradley Whalen explained to Lethbridge News Now:
"We had music playing in the parking lot, we had one of our staff dress up as a stormtrooper kind of waving to people walking up and down the road, we had people stopping by and getting pictures with the stormtrooper, we put a couple of promotions on in the restaurant to entice people to come."

Comment: Canada would now be following further in the hystericized police state tactics of its neighbor to the south, where bizarrely explained shootings are a matter of course. Now that Canada has had its very high-profile, highly unlikely mass shooting, Puppet Trudeau is falling in lock-step. And so, apparently, are the Canadian police.
