A Texas cab driver accused of murder who had been on the FBI's "Top Ten" list of fugitives has been apprehended after being on the lam since 2008, according to reports.

Yaser Abdel Said, 63, of Lewisville, northwest of Dallas, reportedly became upset when his daughters, ages 18 and 17, started dating non-Muslims, police told FOX 4 of Dallas.

On New Year's Day 2008, Said invited his daughters Amina and Sarah out to eat but instead drove them to Irving, where he allegedly fatally shot them inside his vehicle in what were described as "honor killings," the station reported.

Best of the Web: Joe Biden's embrace of Cardi B is shameless & immoral, but it shows that we on the Right have lost the culture war

The 77 year-old Democrat is happy associating with a rapper who revels in women being whores and hypersexualized objects. But does he even know what her latest hit, WAP, stands for? Has he listened to its words or seen the video?

Folks, the culture war is over, and we on the right side of things have lost. Nothing is too low, too vile, too disgusting for the Left to embrace and for most Americans to go along with.

Yes, there are Americans who hate this stuff, but no one cares. I don't even want to bring up Cardi B's video of her performing her latest hit, WAP, with my 17-year-old daughters for fear they'll YouTube it to see what I'm talking about.

I haven't listened to it or watched it, but to my shame, I did listen to NWA in the '90s, and they were just as bad. Honestly, I'd sometimes like to leave society behind and cloister up somewhere on an island with like-minded people.

Comment: What's even weirder about Biden's handlers pushing him into this critter's orbit is that they specifically chose her to be the man's first 'interviewer' of his entire campaign!

This time in 2016, Never-Trumpers were ranting about how "unpresidential" Trump was - and they certainly could make a valid case - but the candidate they today expect to unseat Trump is going way, WAY further 'out there' to 'make an impression on the American people'.

US Democratic Presidential candidate finally gives media interview... to vapid celebrity 'Cardi B'

Attorneys for teen Kenosha shooter say he acted in self-defense: 'Kyle did nothing wrong'

Kyle Rittenhouse

Attorneys for Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old charged with killing two people and wounding another during a riot on Tuesday, said the teenager "did nothing wrong" and only pulled the trigger to defend himself from harm.

"Kyle did nothing wrong. He exercised his God-given, Constitutional, common law and statutory right to self defense," Pierce Bainbridge, the law firm representing Rittenhouse, said in a press release Friday evening.

Comment: There was speculation on the 'net as to why a youth from Illinois was present at a violent event in Wisconson: The Gateway Pundit reports:
Kyle Rittenhouse is a community lifeguard who was working in Kenosha the day of the shooting.

This simple fact destroys the narrative being peddled by the mainstream media that he had "crossed state lines" to harm the rioters.

In a statement by Rittenhouse's legal team at Pierce Bainbridge, provided to the Gateway Pundit, they explained that "after Kyle finished his work that day as a community lifeguard in Kenosha, he wanted to help clean up some of the damage, so he and a friend went to the local public high school to remove graffiti by rioters."

Additionally, the weapon Rittenhouse was using to protect himself and others never crossed state lines.
"Later in the day, they received information about a call for help from a local business owner, whose downtown Kenosha auto dealership was largely destroyed by mob violence," the statement continues. "Business owner needed help to protect what he had left of his life's work, including two nearby mechanic's shops. Kyle and a friend armed themselves with rifles due to the deadly violence gripping Kenosha and many other American cities, and headed to the business premises. The weapons were in Wisconsin and never crossed state lines."
When Rittenhouse arrived at the mechanics shop, he and others stood guard to prevent further destruction. Later that night, long after the 8 p.m. curfew had passed, the police began to disperse a group of rioters. His lawyer, John M. Pierce, explains that while dispersing the mob, they maneuvered a mass of individuals down the street towards the auto shops. Rittenhouse and the others were threatened and taunted, but he did not react. "His intent was not to incite violence, but simply to deter property damage and use his training to provide first aid to injured community members," Pierce says.

After the situation seemed to be diffused, Rittenhouse became increasingly concerned about people who were injured at the gas station, so he went in that direction with his first aid kit. He helped those he could find who were injured, either by administering aid or directing them which way to go for help beyond what he could offer.

The statement says that by the final time that Rittenhouse returned to the gas station and "confirmed there were no more injured individuals who needed assistance, police had advanced their formation and blocked what would have been his path back to the mechanic's shop. Kyle then complied with the police instructions not to go back there. Kyle returned to the gas station until he learned of a need to help protect the second mechanic's shop further down the street where property destruction was imminent with no police were nearby."
"As Kyle proceeded towards the second mechanic's shop, he was accosted by multiple rioters who recognized that he had been attempting to protect a business the mob wanted to destroy. This outraged the rioters and created a mob now determined to hurt Kyle. They began chasing him down. Kyle attempted to get away, but he could not do so quickly enough. Upon the sound of a gunshot behind him, Kyle turned and was immediately faced with an attacker lunging towards him and reaching for his rifle. He reacted instantaneously and justifiably with his weapon to protect himself, firing and striking the attacker," Pierce explains.
Additionally, Rittenhouse stopped to ensure care for his attacker, hardly sounds like someone who had went to the riot with intent to kill.

"Kyle stopped to ensure care for the wounded attacker but faced a growing mob gesturing towards him. He realized he needed to flee for his safety and his survival. Another attacker struck Kyle from behind as he fled down the street. Kyle turned as the mob pressed in on him and he fell to the ground," his legal team says. "One attacker kicked Kyle on the ground while he was on the ground. Yet another bashed him over the head with a skateboard. Several rioters tried to disarm Kyle. In fear for his life and concerned the crowd would either continue to shoot at him or even use his own weapon against him, Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker. The rest of the mob began to disperse upon hearing the additional gunshots."

Rittenhouse then attempted to turn himself in, but was told to keep moving. He went and turned himself in to his local police that evening.
"Kyle got up and continued down the street in the direction of police with his hands in the air. He attempted to contact multiple police officers, but they were more concerned with the wounded attackers. The police did not take Kyle into custody at that time, but instead they indicated he should keep moving," the statement says. "He fully cooperated, both then and later that night when he turned himself in to the police in his hometown, Antioch, Illinois."
The legal team says that "in a reactionary rush to appease the divisive, destructive forces currently roiling this country, prosecutors in Kenosha did not engage in any meaningful analysis of the facts, or any in-depth review of available video footage (some of which shows that a critical state's witness was not even at the area where the shots were fired); this was not a serious investigation. Rather, after learning Kyle may have had conservative political viewpoints, they immediately saw him as a convenient target who they could use as a scapegoat to distract from the Jacob Blake shooting and the government's abject failure to ensure basic law and order to citizens. Within 24-36 hours, he was charged with multiple homicide counts."

Rittenhouse is now being represented by some of the best legal minds in the country at Pierce Bainbridge, with help from Nicholas Sandmann's lawyer Lin Wood.

"A 17-year old child should not have to take up arms in America to protect life and property. That is the job of state and local governments. However, those governments have failed, and law-abiding citizens have no choice but to protect their own communities as their forefathers did at Lexington and Concord in 1775," Pierce said. "Kyle is not a racist or a white supremacist. He is a brave, patriotic, compassionate law-abiding American who loves his country and his community. He did nothing wrong. He defended himself, which is a fundamental right of all Americans given by God and protected by law. He is now in the crosshairs of institutional forces that are much more powerful than him. But he will stand up to them and fight not only for himself, but for all Americans and their beloved Constitution. We will never leave his side until he is victorious in that fight."
Rittenhouse has had several high-profile legal teams offer to represent him, including the firm that defended the Covington students.
Lin Wood, the high-profile lawyer who represents Kentucky student Nick Sandmann, will defend Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who was charged with killing two people during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

DailyMail.com reported a legal defense fund has been established by supporters who vow to "obtain justice" for him.

Wood wrote on Twitter: "Thanks to ALL Freedom Loving Americans who responded to requests for contact information on Kyle Rittenhouse. We have connected with Kyle's family & help is on the way. Kyle will have excellent legal representation. We owe him a legal defense."
Conservative groups have established a legal defense fund for Rittenhouse:
A conservative student group called College Republicans United at Arizona State University is raising money for the teen suspected of killing two people and injuring another at a protest in Kenosha, Wis., this week.

Rittenhouse has been granted a delay for his extradition hearing:
A judge on Friday granted Kyle Rittenhouse's request to delay his extradition hearing to September 25.

The Illinois judge postponed a decision on whether 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse should be returned to Wisconsin to face charges after he killed two men in what now appears to be acts of self defense, reported AP.

Rittenhouse was arrested on Wednesday and is currently being held at a Lake County juvenile center.

Noted attorney Lin Wood defended Rittenhouse and said the teen was acting in self defense.

Trump handed huge boost as Biden makes major mistake - exclusive poll

trump biden

According to the latest monthly Democracy Institute (DI)/ Sunday Express poll President Trump has 48 percent of the popular support over former Vice President Biden's 45 percent.

In the key swing states the gap is even bigger with 49 percent for Trump to 42 percent for Biden giving the incumbent US President an almost unassailable seven point lead.

Since the DI poll in August - a crucial month which saw the Democrat and Republican conventions - the President has gained a point in the swing states while his opponent has lost a point.

Significantly, the latest poll shows that 21 percent were positively influenced to vote Trump after the Republican convention but a negligible eight percent were inspired to vote Biden after the Democrat convention.

Trump is set to win in Minnesota 48 to 45, Florida 47 to 44 and New Hampshire, where he just held a major rally, 47 to 43.

It also appears clear that US voters have already made up their minds with a mere 3 percent of Trump voters and 9 percent of Biden supporters suggesting they could have a change of heart on polling day on November 3.

Patrick Basham, the director of the Democracy Institute, said that the polls confirm that the Democrats completely misread the effect of the Black Lives Matter protests and the desire of Americans to restore law and order in the wake of riots and anarchic protests.

Comment: After polling like that, all Trump has to do is tweet this:

A further sign: C-SPAN is apparently overwhelmed by Democratic callers saying they now support Trump. They had to change their phone-in labels to accommodate the trend. Here are some of their statements:
"The DNC — I turned off...they didn't name any policies; it was just depression ... I'm voting for Trump," one caller stated.

"[President Trump] is fighting for Americans ... I used to be a Democrat...I've switched completely — I'm now Republican, voting Republican all the way. No more Democrat for me," another said.

Other callers noted that President Trump and the RNC's acknowledgment of the riots and violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin is what pushed them over the edge to change their vote.

"I'm from Minnesota, where all these riots and looting and the burning started, and, I mean, not a mention about us last week, about saving our communities, helping our homeless, rebuilding our businesses," said one woman. "This [Republican] convention, just in the last two nights, has awakened me that there is hope — that there are people that are willing to fight for us."

"I didn't vote for Trump, but I am now. Most definitely. The riots going on ... is that what we really want? I don't think so. It's amazing how the Democrat Party has changed," she added.

Israel's Supreme Court has ordered the removal of an illegal Jewish-only settlement built on privately-owned Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank, according to a Reuters report.

Established 20 years ago after claiming to have received the Israeli authorities' approval, Mitzpe Kramim outpost occupied the hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley currently housing about 40 families.

However, accepting a petition by Palestinian plaintiffs submitted in 2011, Israel's top court overturned a 2018 District Court ruling that infuriated the Palestinians, by giving legal recognition to the outpost.

SJWs' latest strategy in the culture war is to deny it even exists: We must call out this deceit

The woke brigade's tactics of gaslighting the right are becoming ever more apparent. This dishonest strategy delegitimises what's going on. It must be resisted at all costs.

The social justice warriors have recently added a couple more strings to their bow when it comes to fighting the culture war. These tactics have been in use for a while, but over the past few months, have grown increasingly prominent. And we saw them again in operation this week, when Prime Minister Boris Johnson was eviscerated for having the audacity to comment on the row over what was played at the Last Night of the Proms - a controversy that was actually started by the left-leaning BBC.

Like all the best strategies in battle, these tactics aren't overtly offensive, but aim to confuse and demoralise the enemy. One can only assume the movement's thought leaders have taken a break from re-reading Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X Khendi and re-discovered Saul Alinsky and Sun-Tzu.

Best of the Web: Enormous caravan of Trump supporters rolls into Portland - Antifa radical shoots one of them dead

portland trump
A man was shot dead in Portland after members of a pro-Trump caravan and Black Lives Matter counter-protesters clashed Saturday night.

The shooting occurred at the intersection of SW 3rd and Alder as the pro-Trump caravan was making its way through town, KATU's Megan Allison reported.

Video posted to Twitter showed someone collapsing to the ground and being helped by others after gunfire erupted.

Comment: First, some videos of the pro-Trump parade earlier yesterday, and the resulting clashes with BLM and Antifa:

Antifa first claimed, falsely, that one of their own had been shot. Andy Ngo has been posting details on Twitter:

Twitter users have identified the shooter as Michael Reinoehl:

Here he is being interviewed by Bloomberg a month ago:

NPR promotes insane book celebrating looting and riots

Vicky Osterweil's new book, In Defense of Looting: A Riotous History of Uncivil Action, is a social justice justification for property damage and theft. This book promoting riots is a number one new release on Amazon, a mega-corporation that benefits every time a local shop gets torched.

Osterweil's book is a celebration of looting in the name of anti-racist action directed at dismantling whiteness and property ownership.

Speaking to NPR's Natalie Escobar, Osterweil made the point that looting during the course of riots is a redistribution of wealth, not theft, and that property damage, too, is simply a way to reapportion assets which she deems necessary in an unequal society.

How Israel wages war on Palestinian history

Before/After Jenin
© UnknownCity of Jenin, West Bank
When the Palestinian actor Mohammed Bakri made a documentary about Jenin in 2002 - filming immediately after the Israeli army had completed rampaging through the West Bank city, leaving death and destruction in its wake - he chose an unusual narrator for the opening scene: a mute Palestinian youth.

Jenin had been sealed off from the world for nearly three weeks as the Israeli army razed the neighbouring refugee camp and terrorised its population.

Bakri's film Jenin, Jenin shows the young man hurrying silently between wrecked buildings, using his nervous body to illustrate where Israeli soldiers shot Palestinians and where bulldozers collapsed homes, sometimes on their inhabitants.

It was not hard to infer Bakri's larger meaning: when it comes to their own story, Palestinians are denied a voice. They are silent witnesses to their own and their people's suffering and abuse.

Homeland Security Secretary confirms Antifa meets standards of domestic terrorism

Antifa/Chad Wolf
© UnknownAntifa members • Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf
Chad Wolf, the current Secretary of Homeland Security made a public statement yesterday clarifying that Antifa "absolutely" meets the standards to be classified as domestic terrorists:
"The issue with Antifa - it's not just one singular group. It's a loosely knit organization that's very hard to define, very hard to define who's a part of it. I think what we see with them individually targeting law enforcement, individually targeting certain officials for certain reasons, that is the definition of domestic terrorism."
There is a growing public concern regarding Antifa and its recurring involvement in violent incidents all over the US, and indeed, in Canada and in many other places in the world. Recently, even top brass at Facebook finally realized that Antifa were promoting violence, and shut down many of their accounts and groups.

The backdrop to all this is the continuing civil disturbances in many American cities, especially those on the west coast. Wolf also mentioned in his statement that the FBI is presently conducting several concurrent investigations into the group and its many semi-formal branches.
