Biden's failing brain exposes deep state treachery

I know the country's going to hell in a handbasket. Inflation is killing working-class families. Illegal immigrants are raping and murdering little girls. "Woke" corporations are pushing "transgender" madness on young children. Public schools are telling students that they will not survive the "climate apocalypse." Biden and the build back better buffoons in control of Western governments are doing everything they can to drag us into WWIII. Still, if you are a Trump supporter who believes the status quo must go, Thursday's presidential debate was awfully fun.

Perhaps you couldn't bring yourself to watch the event "live" because you knew CNN was going to do everything it could to prop Biden up and tear Trump down. If that is the case, then surely you were happy to awaken the next morning and find your usual newsfeed filled with two types of headlines: one recognizing Trump's winning performance and the other recounting Biden's total humiliation. For all of you suffering daily out there, I hope the words provided momentary relief.

You knew that Biden lost his marbles long ago, but the propaganda press has been telling the world that he's just fine for years. For those people who rely upon Deep State programmers to tell them what to believe, seeing Biden disintegrate on the debate stage must have been stunning. Mainstream news corporations have been covering up Biden's mental infirmities for so long that too many Americans watched Biden struggle to form sentences for the first time. Just as reporters in the first half of the twentieth century lied to the American people about FDR's reliance upon a wheelchair, reporters in the first quarter of the twenty-first century have lied to the American people about Biden's debilitating dementia. On June 27, the lid on journalists' barrel of Biden-protecting lies shot right off.

Supreme Court says obstruction charges for January 6 rioters could be thrown out...here's how it will impact Trump's election interference case

The Supreme Court ruled that there are limits on charging January 6 rioters with obstruction, in a case that will impact former President Trump's 2020 federal election interference case. The 6-3 decision could upend hundreds of cases stemming from the January 6 riot, including Donald Trump's election fraud trial. The court's ruling makes it harder for January 6 defendants to be charged with obstructing an official proceeding - which carries up to 20 years in prison.

That is among the four charges facing former President Donald Trump in Special Counsel Jack Smith's federal case.

At least 152 people have been convicted of obstructing an official proceeding, according to the Associated Press, a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison. In all, the charge has been brought against about 350 people accused of trying to prevent Congress certifying Joe Biden's 2020 election victory.

The case was brought by former Boston police officer Joseph Fischer who was indicted on seven charges following the 6 riot including one count for anyone who 'corruptly ... obstructs, influences and impedes any official proceeding.'

Justice John Roberts, who wrote the opinion Friday, limited the 'obstruction of Congress' charge that has been used by the federal government to prosecute January 6 defendants. Roberts called that law, which carries a 20-year prison sentence:
"One of the more severe potential punishments. A broad interpretation of the law would also criminalize a broad swath of prosaic conduct, exposing activists and lobbyists to decades in prison."

How far can American money push the Kiev regime's suicidal war with Russia?

Grinding out the bucks
The economic might of the United States was one of the major reasons why the Allies won WW2. While much of the world was in ruins thanks to the combined invasion of the Axis powers, America was virtually unscathed. Its strategically isolated position made it possible to switch to an unprecedented war economy without the fear of it ever being disrupted by anything. Unfortunately, one of the tools of victory over the world's most repugnant ideology soon turned into a way of pushing the outgrowth of that ideology all across the globe.

The birth of the US MIC (Military Industrial Complex), particularly when combined with "Operation Paperclip", unified the production capacity of America and technological innovations of Germany, creating a monster that many have been warning about ever since, including US General (and later president) Dwight D. Eisenhower.

US Democrats could have no alternative to Biden - analysts

winked out

It would be '"unprecedented" for another candidate to build a campaign to beat Donald Trump on such short notice, experts wrote for Time.

The Democratic Party likely does not have enough time to replace President Joe Biden with another candidate for the November election if the 81-year-old drops out, two analysts have written in Time magazine. The party is said to be scrambling after Biden's "disastrous" debate performance against Donald Trump last week.

During the debate, a seemingly frail and confused Biden struggled to speak clearly, mixed up his words and appeared to lose his train of thought completely on several occasions.

Biden's lackluster performance has reportedly caused panic within the Democratic Party and led to numerous major donors calling for him to be replaced on the party's ticket for the November 5 election.

However, according to the two analysts writing for Time, it would be "unprecedented" for any other candidate to be able to step into the breach in such a short time.

US Supreme Court rules against SEC civil penalties without jury trials, dealing blow to Biden admin

  • The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against the SEC's in-house enforcement of investor protection laws, supporting George Jarkesy's challenge.
  • Jarkesy, a Texas hedge fund manager, initiated the case after being fined and barred by the SEC for securities fraud.
  • Biden's administration appealed a lower court's decision, which the Supreme Court upheld.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Thursday in favor of a challenge to the Securities and Exchange Commission's in-house enforcement of investor protection laws in certain proceedings, dealing a setback to the agency amid the heavy scrutiny by the justices of federal regulatory power.

The 6-3 ruling, a setback for President Joe Biden's administration, upheld a lower court's decision siding with George Jarkesy, a Texas-based hedge fund manager who contested the legality of the SEC's actions against him after the agency determined he had committed securities fraud.

The Supreme Court ruled that agency proceedings seeking penalties for securities fraud that are handled by SEC-installed administrative judges violate the U.S. Constitution's Seventh Amendment right to a jury trial.

"The SEC's antifraud provisions replicate common law fraud, and it is well established that common law claims must be heard by a jury," conservative Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority.

The West - indubitably - has lost Russia, and is losing Eurasia too

Lavrov and Putin

There perhaps was a momentary shrugging-off of slumber in Washington this week as they read the account of Sergei Lavrov's démarche to the U.S. Ambassador in Moscow: Russia was telling the U.S. - "We are no longer at peace"!

Not just 'no longer at peace', Russia was holding the U.S. responsible for the 'cluster strike' on a Crimean beach on last Sunday's Pentecost holiday, killing several (including children) and injuring many more. The U.S. thereby "became party" to the proxy war in Ukraine (it was an American-supplied ATACM; programmed by American specialists; and drawing on U.S. data), Russia's statement read; "Retaliatory measures will certainly follow".

Evidently, somewhere an amber light flashed hues of pink and red. The Pentagon grasped that something had happened - 'No going around it; This could escalate badly'. The U.S. Defence Secretary (after a pause since March 2023) reached for the phone to call his Russian counterpart: 'The U.S. regretted civilian deaths; the Ukrainians had full targeting discretion'.

The Russian public however, is plain furious.

The diplomatic argot of 'there now being a state of betweenness; not war and not peace' is but the 'half of it'.

The West has 'lost' Russia much more profoundly than is understood.

President Putin - in his statement to the Foreign Ministry Board in wake of the G7 sword-rattling - detailed just how we had arrived at this pivotal juncture (of inevitable escalation). Putin indicated that the gravity of the situation demanded a 'last chance' offer to the West, one that Putin emphatically said was to be "No temporary ceasefire for Kiev to prepare a new offensive; nor a freezing the conflict - but rather, needed to be about the war's final completion".

It has been widely understood that the only credible way to end the Ukraine war would be a 'peace' agreement emerging through negotiation between Russia and the U.S.

This however is rooted in a familiar U.S.-centric vision - 'Waiting on Washington ...'.

Lavrov archly commented (in paraphrase) that if anyone imagines we are 'waiting for Godot', and 'will run for it', they are mistaken.

Moscow has something much more radical in mind - something that will shock the West.

Biden family holding Camp David confab with Joe over future of presidential run

The Biden family will reportedly have talks with President Joe Biden Sunday at Camp David over the future of the Democratic Party's 2024 presidential ticket, according to sources who spoke to NBC News.

Democrats have been in disarray since the president's Thursday debate performance, which triggered conversations about staging an intervention to replace Biden on the ballot ahead of November. Despite the Biden campaign's insistence that the Democratic incumbent will move forward with his reelection bid, Biden is reportedly set to meet with First Lady Jill Biden, his children and his grandchildren to discuss this matter. The Biden family was expected to arrive late Saturday, NBC News reported.

"The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady," one source familiar with Biden told the outlet. "If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course."

Comment: The Daily Mail adds:
Overall, the entire family gave Biden their 'unequivocal support,' according to CNN, citing an adviser.

Despite mounting pressure from the Democrats to consider his political future after a car-crash debate performance, Joe Biden seems to be staying firmly in the race with Jill Biden stubbornly standing by his side.

And her actions over the past 48 hours are clear that she is the one firmly pulling the strings over her husband's decision to stay in the race.

She made it clear when she spoke to wealthy donors in New York on Friday night she knew how the debate was perceived but said she told her husband the campaign would continue.

[...]

The CNN performance where Joe Biden meandered through answers and lost his train of thought sparked an unprecedented panic in the party.

Top lawmakers and operatives were immediately considering their options.

But when Biden attended a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday, he seemed like a different man. Jill Biden called it an 'amazing' event.

During it, he admitted his debate performance wasn't ideal, but insisted he is staying put in the race. The crowed of more than 2,000 cheered him on.

His defiant announcement came alongside the one person likely standing between him and a potentially historic decision to step aside: His wife Jill.

Even though she knows he had a bad night at the first presidential debate, she is standing stubbornly at her husband's side and fighting back against the fears he will lose November's contest to Donald Trump.
The contrast is notable. Conspiracy theorists opined that Joe was set up to fail in the debate by altering the drug cocktail that keeps him upright.

The one-ring clown show just expanded to three.

22 nation Arab League removes Hezbollah from terrorist list, agree to begin establishing relations

The Arab League's Assistant Secretary General, Hossam Zaki, has announced that the league has ceased referring to Hezbollah as a "terrorist organization".

After the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement took action against the Zionist regime during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Arab League announced that it no longer considers Hezbollah a "terrorist group", Al Jazeera reported on Saturday.

In a televised statement upon his return from Lebanon, Zaki said, "In previous Arab League decisions, Hezbollah was designated as a terrorist organization, and this designation was reflected in the resolutions, leading to the severing of communication based on these decisions."

Comment: It's likely that this this is also in response to the West-Israel's blatant intent to escalate their war on the region, and in doing so it will enable those Arab states to more overtly work with Hezbollah: Over 80 UK war planes deployed from Cyprus to Lebanon since 7 Oct; 14 flights just this month

For reference, the Arab League is made up of:

Supreme Court backs Biden's social media censorship

USSC

The ruling follows a GOP-led challenge against federal efforts to crack down on 'misinformation' online.

The US Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Joe Biden administration in a legal row over how the government deals with social media platforms. Republican states had objected to a federal drive against "misinformation," arguing it amounted to unconstitutional censorship.

The GOP-backed lawsuit was shot down in a 6-3 vote on Wednesday. In the majority opinion, conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett argued that the court simply lacked the power to intervene in the government's exchanges with social media sites. She wrote:
"The plaintiffs, without any concrete link between their injuries and the defendants' conduct, ask us to conduct a review of the yearslong communications between dozens of federal officials, across different agencies, with different social-media platforms, about different topics. This court's standing doctrine prevents us from exercising such general legal oversight of the other branches of government."
The ruling tossed out a previous decision by a lower court, which had ruled in favor of Republican state attorneys general and a number of private plaintiffs. The case centered on charges that the Biden administration placed undue pressure on internet platforms to stamp out supposed disinformation linked to the Covid-19 pandemic and the 2020 presidential race, among other issues.

Comment: The Supreme Court conservatives have taken aim at federal agencies:
The Trump administration had embraced the war on "deep state" agency power, selecting judicial nominees in part based on their hostility to the federal bureaucracy.

The Supreme Court has already addressed the issue of agencies exerting broad power without clear congressional instructions from another angle in recent rulings that struck down President Joe Biden's federal student loan debt relief plan, blocked his Covid vaccination-or-test requirement for larger businesses, and curbed the EPA's authority to limit carbon emissions from power plants. Supreme Court overturned a 40-year-old precedent that bolstered the power of 'deep state' bureaucrats in a ruling on fishing regulations Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council.

The conservative justices have taken aim at the power of federal agencies, including one on Thursday involving in-house Securities and Exchange Commission adjudications.

On issues of broad national impact, there needs to be an explicit authorization from Congress, an approach known as the "major questions doctrine."

The fisheries dispute is one of several in the current court term in which the justices are considering attacks on federal agency power led by business interests and the conservative legal movement.
