Burundi president Pierre Nkurunziza, who refused to follow Corona World Order diktats, 'dies unexpectedly of heart attack'

The outgoing president of Burundi has died of a sudden illness, suspected by many to be Covid-19.

Comment: That should be read as "suspected (really, wished) by The Guardian to be Covid-19..."

The cause of Pierre Nkurunziza's death was described as a heart attack in a government statement. The 55-year-old was due to stand down in August following elections last month.

It was unclear exactly when he died. A government statement said the president, a keen sports enthusiast, had attended a game of volleyball on Saturday but fell ill that night and was taken to hospital.

The former footballer's health improved on Sunday but "surprisingly, on morning of Monday June 8, 2020, his health suddenly deteriorated and he had a heart attack". The statement described Nkurunziza's death as "unexpected" and asked people to remain calm. Seven days of mourning have been announced.

Nkurunziza had refused to impose restrictions in the small and poor African country, allowing sporting events and mass political rallies to go ahead.

Speculation about the cause of his death has been fuelled by unconfirmed reports that his wife was flown to Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, 10 days ago after contracting Covid-19.

Comment: Probably also fake news.

Authorities in Burundi have been accused of deliberately playing down the threat posed by the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected 197,000 people on the African continent and killed more than 5,000.

Comment: Another good leader taken out then? Sure looks like it.

Polish president says he would ban LGBT ideologies and sex education in schools

Duda

President Andrzej Duda vowed on Wednesday to ban teaching about LGBT issues in Poland's schools in an apparent pitch to his conservative base during an increasingly tight race for the June 28 presidential election.

Duda is an ally of the ruling right-wing nationalist Law and Justice Party (PiS), which brands lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) "ideology" as an invasive foreign influence undermining traditional values in the staunchly Catholic nation.

His main opponent is liberal Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski of the main centre-right opposition Civic Platform (PO) party. Trzaskowski has drawn criticism from religious conservatives for introducing education about LGBT matters in Warsaw schools.

Comment: With an explosion of gender dysphoria, the ever increasing unmarried, teenage pregnancies and the surge in abortions throughout the West, Poland, like Russia, which also adopted similar laws protecting children from warped ideological propaganda, may be on to something:

Back in action, Trump will restart political rallies this month

Comment: Cue CDC and WHO warnings that mass gatherings are dangerous because Covid-19 is more active when mixed with White Supremacy...

President Trump this month will begin hitting the road once again to make his pitch for reelection in the 2020 White House race, despite the deadly coronavirus pandemic, which continues to wreak havoc on the lives and livelihoods of households across the country. Campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement provided to NPR:
"Americans are ready to get back to action and so is President Trump. The Great American Comeback is real and the rallies will be tremendous. You'll again see the kind of crowds and enthusiasm that Sleepy Joe Biden can only dream of."
Trump is set to attend an in-person fundraiser for the first time since pandemic restrictions went into place in Dallas on Thursday.

The news that the president would begin holding rallies in the next two weeks was first reported by Politico on Monday. The Politico report, which the campaign confirms as accurate, also said Trump's political advisers are still determining where to hold rallies and what safety protocols to put in place.

The Trump campaign did not comment on the specifics of safety protocols, including whether masks and temperature checks would be mandated for entry. But in line with the president's well-documented affinity for branded merchandise, "Make America Great Again" masks are a possibility, as floated by Parscale in a tweet last month.

Comment: Biden's isolation is the salvation for the Dems, as in 'the emperor has no mind.'

Regarding 'coronavirus' restrictions for social distancing in the upcoming election appearances: a bonus to disguise thinning support for the Dems while an impediment for Trump's crowds?

Before there was a crisis, BlackRock authored the bailout plan, now hired by 3 central banks to implement it

It's called "Going Direct." That's the financial bailout plan designed and authored by former central bankers now on the payroll at BlackRock, an investment manager of $7 trillion in stock and bond funds. The plan was rolled out in August 2019 at the G7 summit of central bankers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming - months before the public was aware of any financial crisis. One month later, on September 17, 2019, the U.S. Federal Reserve would begin an emergency repo loan bailout program, making hundreds of billions of dollars a week in loans by "going direct" to the trading houses on Wall Street.

The BlackRock plan calls for blurring the lines between government fiscal policy and central bank monetary policy - exactly what the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve are doing today in the United States. BlackRock has now been hired by the Federal Reserve, the Bank of Canada, and Sweden's central bank, Riksbank, to implement key features of the plan.

Three of the authors of the BlackRock plan previously worked as central bankers in the U.S., Canada and Switzerland, respectively. They wrote: "in a downturn the only solution is for a more formal - and historically unusual - coordination of monetary and fiscal policy to provide effective stimulus."

We now understand why, for the first time in history, the U.S. Congress handed over $454 billion of taxpayers' money to the Fed, without any meaningful debate, to eat losses on toxic assets produced by the Wall Street banks it supervises. The Fed plans to leverage the $454 billion into a $4.54 trillion bailout plan, "going direct" with bailouts to the commercial paper market, money market funds, and a host of other markets. [...] The BlackRock-run program will get $75 billion of the $454 billion in taxpayers' money to eat the losses on its corporate bond purchases, which will include its own ETFs, which the Fed is allowing it to buy in the program.

Comment: A snippet from the article:
In the U.S., 30 nonprofits...wrote a letter to Fed Chairman Jerome Powell on March 27 regarding BlackRock's role in the bailout. The groups called out the Fed on the following:

"By giving BlackRock full control of this debt buyout program, the Fed is further entwining the roles of government and private actors. In doing so, it makes BlackRock even more systemically important to the financial system. Yet BlackRock is not subject to the regulatory scrutiny of even smaller systemically important financial institutions."
Too rigged to fail, the Fed is systematically skimming the top, scamming the system, bilking the country and the public. The actions, as described, bring new meaning to the concept of a 'cashless society'.

Palestinian PM's warning: 'We will declare a state' if Israel extends sovereignty over West Bank

Shtayyeh
© Islam TimesPalestinian PM Mohammad Shtayyeh
Last month, head of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas stated that they had terminated all their agreements with Israel and the US amid Tel Aviv's intention to extend its sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh has warned that if Israel extends its sovereignty over West Bank areas, the Palestinians will unilaterally declare a state based on the pre-1967 lines.

Speaking to reporters in Ramallah on Tuesday, Shtayyeh described Israel's sovereignty extension drive as an "existential threat" to the Palestinians and a serious violation of Tel Aviv's agreements with the Palestinian Authority (PA).

He spoke as Hussein al-Sheikh, a senior aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said in an interview with The New York Times that
"we don't want things to reach a point of no return and that Tel Aviv's West Bank-related sovereignty extension means no return in the relationship with Israel. Either they backtrack on annexation and things go back to how they were, or they follow through with annexation and they go back to being the occupying power in the whole West Bank."
He said that Israel would have to "take full responsibility" for the repercussions of the move, adding that "it could go back to like it was before Oslo", in an apparent nod to the 1993 Oslo Agreement which established the PA and gave it limited powers.

Comment: Moscow weighs in on Israel's annexation of West Bank:
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov said on Tuesday that Israel's plans to annex Palestinian territories in the West Bank will put an end to the prospect of a two-state solution and will most likely provoke a new round of violence in Palestine. Bogdanov, in an interview with the Egyptian Al-Ahram newspaper, posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website said:
"It is possible that the new Israeli coalition government may start acting on these statements very soon, extending Israeli sovereignty to the West Bank. We believe that such an action would have extremely adverse consequences. We agree with the assessments and warnings against this which are reflected in the Arab League's recent decisions regarding this matter. In our opinion, the annexation of some Palestinian territories by Israel would preclude the implementation of the two-state solution and would most likely provoke a new round of violence in Palestine and further aggravate the already high discontent in Arab quarters."

FBI attacks 'foreign' alternative media outlets that challenge US foreign policy

FBI monitors
© unknownFBI media censorship
Under FBI orders, Facebook and Google removed American Herald Tribune, an alternative site that publishes US and European writers critical of US foreign policy. The bureau's justification for the removal was dubious, and it sets a troubling precedent for other critical outlets.

The FBI has publicly justified its suppression of dissenting online views about US foreign policy if a media outlet can be somehow linked to one of its adversaries. The Bureau's justification followed a series of instances in which Silicon Valley social media platforms banned accounts following consultations with the FBI.

In a particularly notable case in 2018, the FBI encouraged Facebook, Instagram and Google to remove or restrict ads on the American Herald Tribune (AHT), an online journal that published critical opinion articles on US policy toward Iran and the Middle East. The bureau has never offered a clear rationale, however, despite its private discussions with Facebook on the ban.

The FBI's first step toward intervening against dissenting views on social media took place in October 2017 with the creation of a Foreign Influence Task Force (FTIF) in the bureau's Counterintelligence Division. Next, the FBI defined any effort by states designated by the Department of Defense as major adversaries (Russia, China, Iran and North Korea) to influence American public opinion as a threat to US national security.

Comment: Afraid of a free-thinking public? Muting those that might question the propaganda already in place?

Comment: Every person should be reassessing what they perceive and believe. It is not our own minds at work. As this article warns, there are layers and hierarchy in place 'to make foolproof' false perceptions in order to restrict 'our choices' and reinforce a particular narrative. By snuffing out alt media, the man behind the curtain is exposed - a critical alarm to our psyche should we choose to pay attention.

Memo from Trump: A new fleet of Arctic icebreakers to be made operational by 2029

U.S. President Trump ordered a review of the country's requirements for icebreaking capabilities in the Arctic and Antarctic, with the goal of getting a fleet in place by 2029, according to a memo released Tuesday.

The memo was directed at the Defense, State, Commerce and Homeland Security departments, as well as the Office of Management and Budget.

Much of it directs work already in progress - including building a fleet of at least three heavy icebreakers - but says the remaining ships not under contract should be reviewed for what can be done to maximize their utility in the frozen poles.

The memo calls for "an assessment of expanded operational capabilities, with estimated associated costs, for both heavy and medium [Polar Security Cutters] not yet contracted for, specifically including the maximum use of any such PSC with respect to its ability to support national security objectives," which is due in 60 days.

Trump's directive to assess the current plan to field an arctic maritime capability over the next decade is the latest sign that that the administration is increasingly concerned about Russian and Chinese activity in the arctic could threaten crucial chokepoints such as the Greenland-Iceland-United Kingdom Gap.

Take two? A decade passed since Blair's ID project failure, now pushes for Covid-19 'disease status' version

Blair
© Reuters/Toby Melville/Steven WattFormer British PM Tony Blair
Ten years after Tony Blair's contentious British ID card scheme was binned, the former PM says a digital version is urgently needed so that people can prove their Covid-19 "disease status" as the world transitions out of lockdown.

Speaking at the Virtual CogX technology conference on Tuesday, Blair argued that it's only when citizens can easily show they're coronavirus-free that sectors such as international travel will be able to restart. The former UK Labour prime minister insisted that such a system would operate alongside the government's track-and-trace program as the economy is rebooted.
"It's a natural evolution of the way that we're going to use technology in any event to transact daily life, and this Covid crisis gives an additional reason for doing that."
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, which has been making a range of coronavirus response recommendations to leaders around the world, published a paper on Tuesday calling for a digital health 'passport'.

Under the proposals, people would download a digital wallet app secured with either a fingerprint scan or facial recognition. This would allow them access to their personal health data, such as a test proving they're Covid-19 free.

Comment: Proving you are not guilty/infected? This presumes you are.

Comment: There would be no interest in this endeavor were there nothing in it for Blair and his ilk.

American police state's Reichstag Fire

"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." — George Santayana
Flag on Fire
© Snopes
Watch and see: this debate over police brutality and accountability is about to get politicized into an election-year referendum on who should occupy the White House.

Don't fall for it.

The Deep State, the powers-that-be, want us to turn this into a race war, but this is about so much more than systemic racism. This is the oldest con game in the books, the magician's sleight of hand that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.

It's the Reichstag Fire all over again.

It was February 1933, a month before national elections in Germany, and the Nazis weren't expected to win. So they engineered a way to win: they began by infiltrating the police and granting police powers to their allies; then Hitler brought in stormtroopers to act as auxiliary police; by the time an arsonist (who claimed to be working for the Communists in the hopes of starting an armed revolt) set fire to the Reichstag, the German parliamentary building, the people were eager for a return to law and order.

That was all it took: Hitler used the attempted "coup" as an excuse to declare martial law and seize absolute power in Germany, establishing himself as a dictator with the support of the German people.

Fast forward to the present day, and what do we have? The nation in turmoil after months of pandemic fear-mongering and regional lockdowns, a national election looming, a president with falling poll numbers, and a police state that wants to stay in power at all costs.

Note the similarities?

It's entirely possible that Americans have finally reached a tipping point over police brutality after decades of abuse. After all, until recently, the legislatures and the courts have marched in lockstep with the police state, repeatedly rebuffing efforts to hold police accountable for official misconduct.

Then again, it's also equally possible that the architects of the police state have every intention of manipulating this outrage for their own purposes.

It works the same in every age.

US sanctions on Russian gas pipeline illegal & 'an assault on Europe's sovereignty' - Bundestag member to RT

Nord Stream 2
© nord-stream2.com
The new sanctions by Washington targeting Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline are "absolutely unacceptable," Klaus Ernst, chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy, told RT.

He explained that sanctions could stop the completion of the project, and if the pipeline is not finished, "this will increase gas prices in the EU."

"The US is trying to accomplish its economic interests through illegal extraterritorial sanctions, which it directs at their partners and allies. I assume this as an assault on Europe's sovereignty. These actions are seriously damaging the transatlantic relationship," explained Ernst.

The new North Stream 2 pipeline "doesn't imperil either European or US-American security," Ernst said, adding: "It's of as little danger as car imports from Germany are to the US, which the Trump administration called a threat to US security last year."
