Rockefeller Foundation president starts countdown until all hell breaks loose

Shah/hands

Rockefeller Foundation President Rajiv Shah told Bloomberg Television's David Westin a "massive, immediate food crisis" is on the horizon.

Shah provides what could be a timeline for the next global food crisis that could begin "in the next six months."

He said global fertilizer supply disruptions caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine would have an "even worse" impact on the crisis, slashing crop yields worldwide.

Shah said debt relief and emergency aid for emerging market countries are needed to mitigate the effects of the food crisis.

Shah's appearance on Bloomberg is interesting because of the foundation's repetitive talk about the need for the global food supply to be reset to a more sustainable one. The foundation has closely aligned views with the World Economic Forum (WEF), advocating for a 'global reset'.

Comment: When they talk about it out in the open, the damage has long been done.

Anatomy of a bogus 'disinformation' smear

Justin Ling
© Evan AagaardJustin Ling, freelance investigative journalist
I only just found out that on April 12, this highly prestigious journal ran an article that accuses me of participating in a "Russian disinformation operation." (Gee, never could have guessed that'd be the accusation. How unexpected.) It took awhile for me to learn of this article's existence, because I wasn't contacted ahead of time for any sort of comment or given any chance to reply — apparently a journalistic convention that's fallen out of favor. Oh well.

The journalist who wrote the article is someone named Justin Ling. I had only ever vaguely heard of this person, but after some modest inquiry, now understand that he self-identifies as a "freelance investigative journalist." In this capacity, Ling claims to specialize in issues of "misinformation, conspiracy theories, and extremism." Those who pompously declare themselves to be big media experts in such topics all tend to fit a certain obnoxious mold. Glenn Greenwald has remarked that this newly-concocted journalistic "beat" generally consists of "an unholy mix of junior high hall-monitor tattling and Stasi-like citizen surveillance." NBC News in particular employs a whole dedicated fleet of these people, who — as Greenwald put it:
"devote the bulk of their 'journalism' to searching for online spaces where they believe speech and conduct rules are being violated, flagging them, and then pleading that punitive action be taken (banning, censorship, content regulation, after-school detention)."

Daniel Kovalik: Russia's intervention in Ukraine is legal under international law RT

Ukraine Russia pieces

The argument can be made that Russia exercised its right for self-defense

For many years, I have studied and given much thought to the UN Charter's prohibition against aggressive war. No one can seriously doubt that the primary purpose of the document - drafted and agreed to on the heels of the horrors of WWII - was and is to prevent war and "to maintain international peace and security," a phrase repeated throughout.

As the Justices at Nuremberg correctly concluded, "To initiate a war of aggression ... is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole." That is, war is the paramount crime because all of the evils we so abhor - genocide, crimes against humanity, etc. - are the terrible fruits of the tree of war.

In light of the above, I have spent my entire adult life opposing war and foreign intervention. Of course, as an American, I have had ample occasion to do so given that the US is, as Martin Luther King stated, "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world." Similarly, Jimmy Carter recently stated that the US is "the most war-like nation in the history of the world." This is demonstrably true, of course. In my lifetime alone, the US has waged aggressive and unprovoked wars against countries such as Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, the former Yugoslavia, Iraq (twice), Afghanistan, Libya, and Somalia. And this doesn't even count the numerous proxy wars the US has fought via surrogates (e.g., through the Contras in Nicaragua, various jihadist groups in Syria, and through Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the ongoing war against Yemen).

Comparing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris approval ratings - steady downturns for both

Biden harris

The majority of Americans disapprove of both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a set of devastating analyses for the Democrats.

The approval polling tracker at FiveThirtyEight — which takes a weighted average of the polls — is recording a steady downward approval trend for the pair.

According to FiveThirtyEight, Harris has experienced a sharp decline in her approval ratings, with an updated average on April 21 that showed 58.1 percent disapprove of Harris compared to 32.1 percent who find her to be favorable, a -26 percent net rating.

The sudden spike reflects an outlying April 18-20 poll carried out by the Trafalgar Group, a partisan pollster for the Republican party which FiveThirtyEight rates as A-, that found 63 percent of participants disapproved of Harris.

The Moskva Riddle

Moskva Battleship

Neither NATO nor Russia is telling us what really happened with the Moskva, the legendary admiral ship of the Black Sea fleet.

NATO because in theory, they know. Moscow, for its part, made it clear they are not saying anything until they can be sure what happened.

One thing is certain. If the Russian Ministry of Defense finds out that NATO did it, they will let loose all the dogs from Hell on NATO, as in "asymmetrical, lethal and fast".

On Moskva's location: it was positioned near one of 3 drilling rigs, used for monitoring a whole sector of the Black Sea with hydrophones and NEVA-BS radar, the most westward one, BK-2 Odessa, approximately 66 km northeast from Snake Island. The whole thing was integrated in the regional monitoring systems. As in everything, literally, was monitored: ships, low flying targets, smaller echoes, even the bobbing head of an unsuspecting swimmer.

So there was a quite slim chance that anything - not to mention subsonic Neptune missiles and Bayraktar drones - could have slipped through this aerial net.

So what could have possibly happened?

Mass grave found near French military base in Mali, Russia calls for 'thorough investigation'

The Western media might be tempted to blame the Malian Army for alleged atrocities after a mass grave was found near a camp of the French forces in central Mali, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday, as it called for a thorough probe into the matter.

"We support the decision of the Mali authorities to investigate the circumstances of this crime in the most thorough way," the ministry said, adding that it expects "Paris to effectively contribute to the probes into murders and disappearance of the Malian citizens."

The statement came just days after videos surfaced on social media that supposedly show a mass grave with dozens of bodies being discovered in a military camp once occupied by French forces taking part in Operation Barkhane in Mali and neighboring African nations.

The Malian Army (FAMA) confirmed late Friday that they discovered a mass grave near the former French camp in Gossi, central Mali. The French forces left the "advanced operational base" on Tuesday and handed it over to the Malian military. The base reportedly hosted hundreds of French soldiers.

China reveals new 'Global Security Initiative' that rejects hegemonism, promotes resolving disputes through dialogue not sanctions

Xi Jinping

International disputes should be resolved through dialogue and not by sanctions, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday, while presenting his country's new Global Security Initiative.

Speaking via videolink at the international forum in the province of Hainan amid the ongoing Ukrainian conflict, Xi chose not to comment on other specific international issues, highlighting instead his general vision of a global security framework.

"We, humanity, are living in an indivisible security community. It has been proven time and again that the Cold War mentality would only wreck the global peace framework, that hegemonism and power politics would only endanger world peace and that bloc confrontation would only exacerbate security challenges in the 21st century," Xi said.

Germany will invest $100 billion in military & green projects, public figures condemn arming of Ukraine

Olaf Scholz Germany

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes in the transatlantic mission of universal democracy, rebuilding the German military to make the European Union stronger, and arming Ukraine while carefully skirting the line of open war with Russia, according to an interview published on Friday.

Germany is sending weapons, ammunition and other aid to Kiev to fuel Ukraine's war against Russia, but the situation requires "a cool head and well-considered decisions, because our country bears responsibility for peace and security throughout Europe," Scholz told the German weekly Der Spiegel.

"I don't think it's justified for Germany and NATO to become warring parties in Ukraine," he added.

Comment: Germany is enforcing an apartheid state based on vaccine status and is arming neo-Nazi's; perhaps people should fear an increasingly militarised Germany?

RT also reports that a number of German public figures are condemning their arming and weaponisation of Ukraine:
Germany should stop sending weapons to Ukraine - public figures

Further military aid to Ukraine would only lead to an uncontrollable escalation of hostilities and prolong the suffering of the people caught up in the fighting, a group of German politicians and public figures have warned Chancellor Olaf Scholz in an open letter. By providing arms to Kiev, Germany and other NATO nations "have de facto made themselves a war party," the letter published by the Berliner Zeitung on Friday, has said.

The co-authors of the letter, which include the ex-vice president of the Bundestag, Antje Vollmer, and a former UN assistant secretary general, Hans-Christof Graf von Sponeck, have said that Ukraine has "become the battlefield for the conflict between NATO and Russia over the security order in Europe," which is now waged "at the expense of the Ukrainian people."

If the conflict is not stopped quickly, it will end up in "another big war" similar to Word War I, the letter warns, adding that this time nuclear weapons might be used, bringing "widespread devastation and the end of human civilization." Avoiding further destruction and escalation should be an "absolute priority," it adds.

With food shortages and soaring infaltion, that ball is already rolling; although it's unlikely nukes will be used and instead the establishment in the West instead will every hybrid warfare tactic it has at its disposal.

The co-authors, who also include a former German MP, Norman Paech, as well as an ex-director of the Center for Conflict Research in Marburg, Johannes Becker, maintain that NATO's military support only delays a diplomatic solution, fueling the resistance of the Ukrainian army that "has little chance of winning." Instead, steps to end the bloodshed must be taken, they argue.

It's clear that the West provoked this conflict intentionally and will do just about anything to prevent a peaceful resolution: US planning (another) false flag in Ukraine, intends to frame Russia for NUKE attack - Moscow

The first such step should a stop to all arms deliveries, the co-authors suggest, adding that Berlin should instead convince Kiev to "end its military resistance" and opt for a political solution instead. A neutral status for Ukraine, as well as recognition of Crimea as part of Russian territory and Kiev's consent to referendums in the Donbass republics, could be a "real chance" for reaching an agreement, they say.

Talks about the withdrawal of Russian troops and the "restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity" should be accompanied by NATO proposals on new security arrangements in the region that would take into account the "legitimate security interests of Russia and its neighboring countries," the letter says.

The co-authors, comprising 18 politicians and public figures in total, also suggest declaring several Ukrainian cities, including Kiev, Kharkov and Odessa, to be "open cities" - meaning locations that agree to abandon all defensive efforts in exchange for assurances that no fighting will take place in their premises. That would help them avoid destruction and civilian casualties, those behind the open letter argue.
The prevailing logic of war must be replaced by a courageous logic of peace and a new European and global peace architecture must be created that includes Russia and China. Our country must not stand on the sidelines here, but must play an active role.
Russia attacked its neighboring state in late February, following Ukraine's failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, first signed in 2014, and Moscow's eventual recognition of the Donbass republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. The German- and French-brokered protocols were designed to give the breakaway regions special status within the Ukrainian state.

The Kremlin has since demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.
The letter demonstrates that there are still a few reasonable minds in Germany's upper echelons, sadly they seem to be outnumbered by the incompetent, the compromised, and the pathological.

The bodies of two Russian oligarchs were found dead alongside their wives and children just one day apart, according to a handful of media reports.

The first was Vladislav Avayev, formerly vice president of Gazprombank. He was found killed by a gunshot wound in his Moscow apartment on Monday, Russia's state-run Tass news agency reported. Police are looking into a theory that Avayev shot his wife and children, and then himself.

Although the names of the victims were not included in a public statement from the Russian government, Tass said an unnamed source later confirmed their identities.

Investigators said in their statement that they believe Avayev shot his wife and daughter, and then himself.

US planning (another) false flag in Ukraine, intends to frame Russia for NUKE attack - Moscow

Zaporozhskaya Nuclear Power Plant Ukraine
© SputnikThe Russian Defense Ministry says Washington wants to use weapons of mass destruction to frame Moscow
Russia has accused the US of planning to use weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Ukraine in order to frame Moscow. The US is preparing "a provocation aimed at accusing the Russian armed forces of using chemical, biological, or tactical nuclear weapons," Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force, said on Saturday.

According to Kirillov, the supposed plans include "three scenarios." The most probable scenario, he said, is a false-flag attack on civilians, or "an act of sabotage on Ukrainians sites, which were involved in the development of the components of weapons of mass destruction."

Kirillov claimed that the potential targets are the Zaporozhskaya Nuclear Power Station, which has been controlled by Russia since early March, and the site of a former chemical plant in Kamenskoye in eastern Ukraine.

Comment: Prior to this announcement there was speculation that the West could use large amounts of TNT to create the effect that a nuke was used - complete with mushroom cloud and wide radius of destruction - without actually having to use real nukes.
