Meet the "Violet" - successors to the White Helmets' Syria propaganda throne

While the world is distracted by the Covid-19 crisis, scant attention has been paid to events in Syria. The US-led coalition is maintaining a savage multispectrum war on the country, but few are aware of the suffering of the Syrian people as the media have barely reported on the starvation, economic catastrophe, scorched-earth policy, and war crimes directly committed by the US-led coalition and indirectly via their client terrorist groups. All of these are components of the US-led spoiler policy designed to economically reduce Syria to a failed state, a sinister objective they were unable to achieve militarily.

India-China border dispute flares up as both claim to have thwarted violation of territory

Pangong

Indian forces foiled an attempt by Chinese troops to occupy a hill on the Asian giants' disputed border in the western Himalayas, officials in New Delhi said on Monday, following the latest flare-up between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.

Having spotted the Chinese troops' movement, Indian troops mobilised to deter further encroachment, and the confrontation did not escalate into a clash between the two sides, Indian military and government sources told Reuters.

China rejected the accusation that People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops had breached the border, but tensions between the two armies in the freezing snow deserts of the Ladakh region have been running high for several months.

Comment: RT reports on China's border dispute claims:
Beijing has reported a new border incident with India in the contested region of Aksai Chin, accusing New Delhi of intrusion into Chinese territory on Monday. China's military warned it was getting ready for any possible scenario.

Indian troops have broken their promise and trespassed over China's border again, Senior Colonel Zhang Shuili, spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army (PLA) said in a statement.

The official urged India to withdraw its troops from the Chinese-controlled area and "control" them to avoid such incidents in the future. The Chinese military is taking all measures necessary to deal with the situation and is ready to defend China's sovereignty, he warned.

The statement came within hours of New Delhi bringing an earlier border incident to light, accusing China of conducting "provocative military movements" in the area and crossing the border at the weekend.

The two countries have long been at odds over the disputed border in the scarcely-populated mountainous region known as Aksai Chin in China and Eastern Ladakh in India. The dispute has repeatedly resulted in clashes between Indian and Chinese troops stationed in the area.

New Ukrainian Special Forces Commander previously attempted to defect to Donetsk

Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky (L) and Special Forces Commander Grigory Galagan (R).
On August 25th, the Ukrainian Special Forces Commander was replaced by Grigory Galagan.

Galagan is known for his attempt, in 2014, to defect to the side of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

This was announced reported by the Telegram-channel WarGonzo, citing sources in the intelligence services of the DPR.

It is noted that Galagan himself proposed his candidacy to an influential DPR militia commander, whom he approached through his contacts in the Crimean "Alpha Group" (a branch of the Security Service of Ukraine), where he served till 2014.

SOTT Focus: Robert F Kennedy Jr Delivers Historic Anti-Fascism Speech to Million-strong Crowd in Berlin

Comment: We don't know exactly how many people were there, but it was probably similar in crowd size to the 1.3 million people organizers estimated filled the streets at an anti-Fascism rally in Berlin at the beginning of August.

In any event, what actually took place was the direct opposite of what global media is reporting: 'a few thousand neo-NAZI conspiracy theorists ranting about freedom or something...'

RFK Jr was one of the speakers, and he did his forebears proud...

RFK Jr Berlin protest
We've transcribed Robert F. Kennedy Jr's speech below (broadcast through RT Deutsch), punctuated as it is with German translation, made to hundreds of thousands of Germans assembled in Berlin yesterday, Saturday, August 29, 2020, to protest the anti-democratic measures of the COVID scare. Below that is a short video of the Brandenburg Gate area as yesterday's crowd was assembling, with a short video of Kennedy speaking to a reporter.

Kennedy's Children's Health Defense has also issued its own video recorded from the back of the stage, along with the transcript of Senta Depuydt's speech and some photos. Senta is an Officer of the new European chapter of CHD. See this post on Children's Health Defense for Friday's CHD press conference in Berlin: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Holds a Press Conference in Berlin After Launching CHD's Europe Chapter.

Comment: In related Fake News, the media reported that these protesters "attempted to storm the German parliament," when in fact all they did was stand on the steps of the Reichstag waving flags and singing the German national anthem.

The protest was actually 'banned' earlier last week, but the highest court in the land later 'lifted the ban'. Of course it did; hundreds of thousands of people were going to go out and protest anyway!

What's really freaking out the media talking heads is the range of people showing up at these events in London, Berlin and elsewhere - everyone from families with young kids to hardcore nationalists and 'Q' supporters to pink-haired LGBT and anti-war activists...

New bill could see rioters, looters lose unemployment benefits, be on the hook for policing bills

Rioters and looters would lose federal unemployment benefits and be forced to pay for extra policing needed at protests under a new bill being introduced by a military-veteran congressman.

"Antifa thugs are descending on suffering communities, disrupting peaceful protests and leaving violence, looting and vandalism in their wake," Indiana Rep. Jim Banks said while introducing his "Support Peaceful Protest Act" on Friday.

"They turned Milwaukee, Seattle and Portland into war zones, and now they're moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?" he asked in a statement.

Ford Foundation, with Biden campaign ties, funds leftist agitators on U.S. streets

Sign and activists

Last Sunday, the site of the Republican National Convention in Charlotte witnessed a night of violence leading to at least five arrests. Since Friday, Black Lives Matter activists terrorized the Queen City, including beating police officers, in an effort to intimidate GOP attendees and business owners.

By contrast, the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee brought only a small gathering of peaceful activists, who declared: "We decided that it would make sense for us to make the emphasis of our action the one point of unity that deals with police crimes."

Here we have a real "tale of two cities." To understand the disparity of these two convention host cities separated by only a week, let's examine some financiers of organizations fomenting the riots now taking place across the country.

Big Money, Connections to Top Democrats

Claiming to be America's second-largest private foundation, the Ford Foundation has poured almost $2 billion into groups active in "disrupting systems to advance social justice," according to its grant database.

The Ford Foundation boasts key members of the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaign as alumni executives. Harris's sister and ex-campaign chairwoman Maya Harris served as the Ford foundation's vice president alongside Biden's now senior advisor, Cristóbal Alex, who served as its program director during the Obama presidency.

Comment: Ford Foundation is the financial hand within the protest glove, enabling the desecration of cities and communities with planned chaos and funded violence.

The RAIR Foundation also investigated, finding evidence that members of the Clinton organization were working in parallel:
rand paul wife rnc blm thugs
A super PAC founded by Clinton aides invited the thugs who harassed Senator Rand Paul and his wife after the Republican National Convention at the White House on August 27, 2020.
Other prominent Republicans exiting the RNC were also confronted by a leftist rage mob organized by the Party Majority PAC, as well as the Revolutionary Communist Party's front group "Refuse Fascism," whose cult-like leader Bob Avakian endorsed Joe Biden earlier this month, and a Democratic Socialists of America-aligned group called Shut Down DC.

Party Majority PAC

An individual holding a sign that says "Good Trouble" with the hashtag #ThePeoplesHouse is highlighted in the featured photo. If one checks out the hashtag, one is led to a website, where an invitation to a protest the White House is prominently featured.

Attendees were told to meet at the ACLU, according to the invitation. A corresponding ActBlue solicitation for "air horns" was connected to the invitation. The "contribution," according to the invitation, "will benefit Party Majority PAC."

The Party Majority PAC was founded by Mike Lux and Adam Parkhomenko according to a 2017 article posted at NBC News. Mike Lux, the co-founder of the group, has been a card-carrying Democratic Socialists of America member. NBC News described him as "a former aide to President Bill Clinton who has helped build a series of progressive organizations over the last two decades." Those organizations include the Soros-funded groups: Ballot Initiative Strategy Center and the Center for American Progress.

The Party Majority PAC "will fill in holes to make sure activists on the ground have the resources they need to be successful, working with existing organizations both new and old to ensure resources are used effectively," Mike Lux was quoted as saying.

Parkhomenko, on the other hand, "served as director of grass-roots engagement on Clinton's presidential campaign and is currently a paid adviser to Clinton..." Parkhomenko has been hired for Hillary Clinton's "Onward Together" group, which works very much like George Soros' Open Society Foundations in giving grants to subversive organizations.

Ironically, a trending hashtag during the last night of the Republican National Convention was #DrownOutTrump, which also appears to be associated with #ThePeoplesHouse protest.

It is almost as if Twitter is aligned with the hard left activist groups.

Notice the signs are the same as the one that was being held over Senator Rand Paul in the photo above.

Revolutionary Communist Party

Refuse Fascism, a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party, was also in attendance. Their invitation is too idiotic to post, but can be read here. While the mainstream media interviews and posts images of Marxist agitators, they do not bother to explain their radical connections.

The Joe Biden-endorsing leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party is Bob Avakian, seen below praising Mao Zedong, as he sits with his comrade Marxist Cornel West.

The Refuse Fascism signs are distinctive and can be easily picked out of a crowd.

Imagine if the mainstream media actually reported in these connections?

Media Response

In the immediate aftermath of the attack on Senator Rand Paul and his wife by the violent leftist mob that gathered during the Republican National Convention, the mainstream media was silent. After being forced to report on the story that was blasting through social media, the media tried a new tactic. Instead of reporting what Americans could plainly see with their own eyes, the headlines were that Senator Rand Paul "claimed" to be attacked, or "said" he was attacked.

This nuance diminishes the actual attack on the Senator and his wife and was not lost on prominent social media users.

It's Not Happening: the Mainstream Media Is the Enabler of American Dysfunction

protest marchers

Has anyone seen anywhere in the mainstream media a serious discussion of Israel's possible role in the Beirut bombing? I am not suggesting an evidence-free indictment of Israel but rather just a review of Israel's possible motive and a consideration of its capability to carry out such an attack without having to directly do it itself with one of its bombs or missiles. Given the Jewish state's unrelenting hostility towards Hezbollah and its repeated violations of Lebanese territory and airspace, it would seem to me that it would at least merit a sentence or two in the New York Times or Washington Post.

Or how about the Jeffrey Epstein case, another one involving Israel? There is considerable evidence to suggest that Epstein just might have been using underage girls as sex bait for powerful men so they could be blackmailed into cooperating with Mossad. It might have meant having a Bill Clinton as a presidential spouse if voting had gone the other way in 2016 and Bill would have had to be answerable to Benjamin Netanyahu. I haven't seen anything about that in the newspapers of record or on FOX, MSNBC, CBS or CNN.

Trump promises visit to Kenosha in wake of violent protests

Trump

President Trump will visit Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday to support residents in the protest- and violence-torn town, a spokesman said Saturday night.

He will meet with law enforcement and survey damage from recent riots, the spokesman, Judd Deere, told reporters on board Air Force One, as the president returned from a trip to Louisiana, where he surveyed damage from Hurricane Laura.

"It's a great state, Wisconsin, a great state, and they should not have to put up with what they went through," Trump said earlier Saturday, speaking of the days of mayhem that followed the police shooting of Jacob Blake last Sunday. "It was not a good sight," Trump had said of Blake's wounding. "I didn't like the sight of it, certainly."

"We were finally able to get the go-ahead from local authorities to send in the National Guard," Trump told reporters Saturday as he met with officials to discuss the aftermath of Hurricane Laura. "The governor let us do what we had to do and we cleaned it out."

Trump still would not weigh in on Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who allegedly shot and killed two rioters in the street fighting that followed Blake's shooting.

Comment: The president is visiting the hot spots of protests and riots to assess the situations and gather hands-on information, unlike Biden who remains a downstairs candidate spouting phony sanctimony from his basement.
While Trump has decried violent protests in Kenosha, he has yet to weigh in on the police shooting of Blake, who was reportedly paralyzed from the waist down in the incident. Nor has he offered an opinion on the case against Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, who was charged on Thursday with first-degree murder and attempted homicide for shooting two protesters to death and injuring a third during a street confrontation.

Trump has promised to issue a comment about the teen's case within the next few days once the investigation is complete.
"Well, you know, that's under investigation right now and they'll be reporting back to me over the next 24 hours, 48 hours maybe, max, and we'll have a comment about it. Right now we're looking at it very, very carefully."
Supporters have said Rittenhouse acted in self-defense while being attacked by protesters, while critics have painted the teen vigilante as a cold-blooded murderer, with some such as left-wing Twitter 'pundit' Rob Gill going so far as to call for mob justice if the teenager is acquitted.

Sudanese leaders and rebel groups agree peace deal

A peace agreement between Sudanese leaders and a coalition of rebel groups was formalised at a ceremony in neighbouring South Sudan on Monday.

Both civilian Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and the military's General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan attended the ceremony in Juba, where negotiations have been held over the past year.

The document was initialed by Mohamed Hamdan Dagolo, known as Hemeti, the leader of the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary - an umbrella organization of rebel groups from various Sudanese conflict zones - who rose through the ranks as a leader of the Janjaweed militias accused of genocide in Darfur.

It was not fully signed as two key groups had not added their signatures.

An AFP correspondent said that the SRF had raised their fists in celebration after inking the deal.

The signatories to the deal included a faction of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (SLM/A), the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), and a faction of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). However, an SLM faction led by Abdelwahid Nour and a wing of the SPLM-N headed by Abdelaziz al-Hilu refused to take part.

'We have a somewhat authoritarian system': Lukashenko wants new constitution less reliant on president

According to the president, the Belarusian opposition often mentions reforming the country's political system, but "nobody talks about what changes they actually want," he said.

Lukashenko also rejected calls to return to the 1994 Constitution, maintaining that the nation should move "forward," instead of looking back. Once a draft is finished, the document will be made public for open discussion, enabling Belarusians to "express their opinion" about the proposed changes.

Belarus needs a political system that is not tied to the head of state, according to President Alexander Lukashenko, who is currently experiencing the most substantial challenge to his reign since he first took power in 1994. Lukashenko's statement comes as the country begins work on a third version of the constitution, rejecting the opposition's idea to return to the original from 26 years ago.

Speaking to Chairman of the Supreme Court Valentin Sukalo, Lukashenko claimed that the country's political system is "somewhat authoritarian," and asked that the new constitution moves away from a reliance on the head of state to "make sure that the system that is not tied to an individual," including himself.
