Joe Biden and his warmongering minions seem absolutely determined to drag America into World War III

When the nukes start falling, nobody will be able to say that they weren't warned. Thanks to Joe Biden and his warmongering minions, we are steamrolling toward World War III, but most Americans don't seem to care. Most of us just continue to party our lives away, but meanwhile our leaders seem absolutely determined to drag us into an apocalyptic conflict. The Biden administration is constantly provoking China and constantly escalating the war in Ukraine, and one of these days they could cross a line that will never be able to be uncrossed. They are literally playing with fire, but they won't be the only ones that get burned if they push things too far.

This week, we learned that the Biden administration has decided to give cluster munitions to Ukraine as part of a new $800 million military assistance package.

US State Department has become 'ministry of truth' - Moscow

American media outlets are trying to make Russians rebel at Washington's behest, the Foreign Intelligence Service has claimed...

US authorities are urging the country's media outlets to propagate falsehoods about Russia in a bid to undermine its stability, amid the ongoing stand-off between Moscow and the West, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has claimed.

In a statement on Monday, the agency quoted its director, Sergey Naryshkin:
"The US State Department ... basically dictates to the American media what exactly they should write and say," adding that it "has finally turned into the 'Ministry of Truth'."
The comment was an apparent reference to the fictional ministry tasked with falsifying historical events in George Orwell's world-renowned dystopian novel 'Nineteen Eighty-Four'.

The SVR, citing intelligence data, claimed that last month the department sent instructions to several major media holdings, including AT&T, Comcast Corporation, Graham Media Group, Nash Holdings, Newsweek Publishing and The New York Times Company, telling them to "reflect events in and around Russia in a distorted manner."

According to the agency, these outlets were tasked with convincing Russian citizens that there was a need for a "forceful struggle against the authorities, up to an armed rebellion." They also wanted to "involve the population in protest actions" by "actively circulating falsehoods" about Russia's purported weakness and its "inevitable defeat in the stand-off with the West," the statement read.

Biden accused of spilling military secret

The president has admitted in a CNN interview that US forces are running low on artillery shells...

US President Joe Biden has sought to justify his controversial decision to send cluster bombs to Ukraine by revealing a potentially sensitive fact about America's military: It's running low on artillery shells.

Biden made the admission in a CNN interview that aired on Sunday, saying it was necessary to give cluster munitions to Kiev because 155mm artillery rounds are in short supply. "This is a war relating to munitions, and they're running out of that ammunition, and we're low on it," Biden told CNN's Fareed Zakaria. The host had pointed out a previous White House claim that the use of cluster bombs by Russian forces could be a "war crime."

Conservative critics, such as US podcast host Steve Guest, argued that Biden blurted out what should have been a state secret. "Joe Biden broadcasts to the world that the US is low on 155mm shells. Does President Biden not care that our adversaries in communist China are listening?"

Stoltenberg: No point discussing Ukraine's NATO membership if Kiev loses conflict

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg
© Sputnik / Стрингер /FILE PHOTO: NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg speaks during news conference in Brussel, Belgium. Jens Stoltenberg's chief of staff has retracted his 'land for peace' suggestion after a backlash from Kiev.
NATO summit kicked off on Tuesday with the focus on Ukraine possible invitation to the alliance. Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stressed that the Eastern European state would join the bloc when all member states agree on it and if it meets all the conditions.

There is no point in discussing Ukraine's NATO membership if Kiev does not prevail in the ongoing conflict, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday.

Comment: RFE/RL reports that the exact wording he used was: "unless Ukraine prevails, there is no membership to be discussed at all."

"I think all allies agree that when a war is going on that's not the time for making the Ukraine the full member of the alliance," he stressed.

"We also made clear that we will issue an invitation for Ukraine to join NATO when allies agree and conditions are met," Stoltenberg told a press conference.

Comment:

Understanding the NATO summit: The steam for the US proxy war in Ukraine is running out. No commitment is given to Ukraine to obtain NATO membership because the West has come to realize that they can't win a war against Russia and that peace will only be possible with a neutral Ukraine. Ukraine will never be a member of NATO.

Zelenskyy has realized this and is fuming in Vilnius, attacking NATO as disrespectful and calling the conditions absurd. In a moment of clarity he acknowledged what's really going on: "It seems there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance. This means a window of opportunity is being left to bargain Ukraine's membership in NATO in negotiations with Russia." That's exactly right. NATO has lost this war. Biden has lost this war.

The lunatic Democrats have lost this war. The uni-party warmongers have lost this war. The EU has lost this war. Ukraine and Zelensky have lost this war. Russia wins and rightfully so because everything that happened in Ukraine was a fraud against the Ukrainian people perpetrated by a failing US empire in its final stand against a rising multipolar world. Zelenskyy was never a leader who did what's best for his people. He will be remembered as a US puppet and actor for foreign interests. 350,000 Ukrainians dead because of him and his puppet masters in the US. He lost $12.7 trillion worth of land and resources to Russia because he did not sign the reasonable peace agreement that Russia had proposed to him. Instead he fell for empty promises from Biden that the US will support Ukraine until victory. What a fool.

The good news is this war may be over soon. The West has lost its appetite to throw more money into the Ukrainian black hole. With the US and EU entering recession they have enough problems at home. Protests and riots will become regular news. Biden wouldn't stand a chance in the next election. His brain is Swiss cheese and the only alternative for the Democrats is Kennedy. Trump will use the fatal mistake in Ukraine and the dire economic outlook of the US to run a successful campaign.

Kennedy, who says all the right things, would be his only real obstacle but the Democrats have messed their country up so royally that Trump seems like the only choice. The reality is that it doesn't matter who the next US president is. The insurmountable debt burden combined with de-dollarization in global trade and the rise of BRICS+ are going to send the US into a decade long depression with unseen levels of poverty and violence.

Hopefully humanity dodged a bullet and nuclear war is no longer imminent. At least that is my read of the situation right now. But things could flare up again if peace negotiations fail. Russia may be tempted to take Odessa and turn Ukraine into rump state without access to the sea. Russia is holding all the cards. Let's see how Putin plays them.

NATO summit, a theater of the absurd

stoltenberg

The unfulfilled goals and objectives from last year's meeting in Madrid loom over the Atlantic military alliance. When the membership meets in Vilnius this week, normalizing failure might best describe the most that can be accomplished.

The leaders of NATO's 31 constituent member states have begun to assemble in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, for the alliance's 33rd summit, an event that has come to symbolize the military organization's increasingly difficult task of transforming political will into tangible reality.

Since the Wales Summit of 2014, when NATO made Russia a top priority in the aftermath of the Russian annexation of Crimea, and the Warsaw Summit of 2016, when NATO agreed to deploy "battlegroups" on the soil of four NATO members (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland) in response to perceived Russian "aggression" in the region, Russia has dominated the NATO agenda and, by extension, its identity.

The Vilnius summit promises to be no different in this regard.

Not weaponized? Biden DOJ indicts whistleblower prepared to testify against Biden family

Gal Luft biden corruption witness
Israeli professor Dr. Gal Luft laid out his bribery allegations against President Biden’s family in an extraordinary video filmed in an undisclosed location while he’s on the run.
An Israeli whistleblower was indicted by the Biden administration days after detailing extraordinary allegations against the Biden family.

Dr. Gal Luft, the "missing witness" from the Biden corruption investigation, told the NY Post last week that he was arrested in Cyprus to stop him from testifying in front of the House Oversight Committee that the Biden family received payments from individuals linked to Chinese military intelligence, and that they had an FBI mole who shared classified information with the Biden benefactors from the China-controlled energy company CEFC.

"I told the DOJ that Hunter was associated with a very senior retired FBI official who had a distinct physical characteristic — he had one eye," Luft said.

Documents reveal rush to target Trump's National Security pick, Michael Flynn, in Obama's waning days as president

© Jim Watson/AFP/Getty ImagesObama administration officials got access to intelligence information on Trump-appointed national security adviser Michael Flynn, including then-Vice President Joe Biden and then-U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power, pictured in the Oval Office on Aug. 4, 2015.
Heavily redacted documents from the National Security Agency tell at least part of the story of a final-month rush by the outgoing Obama administration to torpedo the incoming presidency of Donald Trump.

The Daily Signal obtained 217 pages of documents from the NSA through a Freedom of Information Act request. The documents reveal that Obama administration officials, from Vice President Joe Biden down to several ambassadors and many officials in the Treasury and Energy departments, gained access to secret information about Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, President-elect Trump's choice for national security adviser.

The documents obtained by The Daily Signal include raw information of requests and other messages from these officials to the National Security Agency in late November 2016 through early January 2017, as well as emails among NSA officials explaining why the information was shared.

Comment: Obama and co. were terrified of Flynn, a military insider who knows where all the bodies are. America was deprived of what would have been a competent and decent head of the NSA, who probably would have reined in much of the abuses the public has been subject to since. But we will never know.

Another Empire puppet: US reveals substance of 'Israeli-style' security guarantees for Ukraine

jake sullivan
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan
The framework would include material support and intel sharing, a national security advisor has said

Israeli-style security guarantees, which the West could potentially offer Ukraine in lieu of full NATO membership, would provide Kiev with long-term military assistance and other types of support, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan proposed on Sunday.

Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to London, Sullivan was asked to elaborate on the 'Israel-style' security arrangement for Ukraine which US President Joe Biden mooted last week. The president said that while Ukraine will not be ready for NATO membership until the conflict with Russia is over, the West could still provide the Ukrainians with the "capacity to defend themselves."

Sullivan described the concept as a "multilateral framework" that should be discussed first with America's allies and partners.

Comment: As if Ukraine wasn't a big enough financial black hole already. The U.S. can't afford Israel as it is. And now they want to put Ukraine on the same footing? And guess where some of that U.S. aid has been going? Is Israel a middle-man for the Empire?

China and Russia should lead 'global governance reform' - Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping, Valentina Matvienko

Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted a top Russian senator, Valentina Matvienko, for talks in Beijing on Monday. The high-profile negotiations revolved around strengthening ties between the two nations, as well as their joint multinational projects.

"China is ready to continue to work with Russia to develop a new era of comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership that is mutually supportive, deeply integrated, pioneering and innovative, and mutually beneficial to help rejuvenate the two countries and promote a prosperous, stable, fair and just world," Xi said during the meeting, which involved multiple senior officials from the two countries.

Moscow and Beijing should "lead the correct direction of global governance reform," Xi stressed, underlining that the development of the bilateral ties has become "a strategic choice made by both countries based on their own national and people's fundamental interests." Xi added that the importance of developing ties within such multinational groups as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS.

During the meeting, Matvienko, the speaker of Russia's upper chamber of parliament, relayed a "spoken message" from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Xi. She said Russia-China ties have in recent years reached their highest-ever point and they will continue to improve even further. "This is the key role of the leaders of the two states. Such cooperation is in the best interests of our countries," she said.

Is there more censorship nowadays than in the former Soviet Union?

social media censorship google facebook twitter
I rarely agree with Noam Chomsky yet he made a bold statement in an interview with Russell Brand that caught my attention. He claimed that we are now living in a kind of totalitarian system that is worse than the former Soviet Union. Chomsky cites the coverage of the war in Ukraine as an example. Not a word can be said that deviates from the dominant narrative or the person who utters it is smeared and canceled. But the dominant story about that war regularly is seriously incorrect. (Do we still believe that Russia blew up the Nord Stream gas pipeline? Maybe not anymore. But it will surely turn out to be true that Russia destroyed the Kachovka dam.)

It might not be such a bad thing to hear dissenting voices about Ukraine. Not because I want people to support Putin. But because there would be few wars if everyone made the effort to periodically listen to the supposed enemy. That is exactly what is made impossible by the current censorship. For example, Chomsky has said that it was easier to listen to Western channels in the Soviet Union under communism than it is now to listen to Russian channels today in the United States.
