The guy who calls himself an astronomer (a "top" one) should be absolutely ashamed of himself. Who has ever seen a contrail MOVE across the sky like that? Contrails are just streaky clouds, and who has ever seen a cloud move in that way? Absolutely unbelievable stupidity.

Its just not COMFORTABLE for them to think of it as anything other than something you might see every day, a contrail, it seriously disturbs their status-quo. Besides which, they wouldn't want to loose their research funding or lucrative contracts.

To attempt to spin the California sighting as a commercial jet contrail beggars belief as the news footage was obviously a missile. It was also synchronous with China's downgrading of the US credit rating.

Remember a while back when a Chinese sub, completely undetected, popped up in the China Sea, in the middle of a US carrier group to say hi?

So, the "not rocket" fired off the coast of California was not, by any chance, launched in an attempt to intercept the moving "contrail" (read: comet or meteor) that streaked across NYC sky? Just a thought...

'cause it's the second SOTT article "smelling" of panic and fear within 2 days. It happens on Thursdays and Fridays when emotions are at their worst. First of all Pirandello had said that "so it is if you so believe" so everyone is entitled to believe whatever s/he wants.
That think over California was definitely missile contrail judging from the angle.This is definetely NOT military or any other plane's contrail for the following reasons :
#1: I've seen military contrail over our skies I know how it looks like.
#2: Secondly no plane gets clearance to fly so low, especially over cities.
#3: If you notice it moves in a slightly unstable manner, the pilot must have been drunk if it was a plane.
Also, it's not a comet, they fall in a nearly vertical angle. I've also seen them with my eyes burn up in the skies, this thing is moving PARALEL to the ground.
Now can you put 2+2 together ? The U.S military has a standing order if it happens to detect a U.F.O. that's not ours. SHOOT IT DOWN! To the best of my knowledge we don't have that capability yet. Now people, I think that's the real thing ! Wouldn't it panic you more if they told you the real thing is flying over your skies and THEY can't shoot it down or over N.Y. and it went undetected ? Hell, Forestall was thrown out of a window over Roswell. Not all of them appear on radar. Also it can't be one of ours , too many witnesses. Also and this is way too weird for ME, I just wrote about a real u.f.o. incident on the previous post some hours ago without having seen this post. It's the 3d time I write something that I find on SOTT only a while later ! Spooky. Rabelais , I've never heard that before and just asking when that thing with the sub happened ? I mean I've never heard of any sub going undetected especially in the middle of a U.S. carrier group.

Assuming that the video was not speeded up then the "aircraft" must have been quite low to have such an apparent speed. It did not look like a contrail to me regardless of speed.

to be clear, I agree whole heartedly with SOTT. something is being expected. first this is the second time I believe the DHS has been buying up stocks of freeze dried food. secondly, a month or two back, they bought massive supplies of emergency medicine suitable for accident traumas. next we have the many many deep underground bunkers, built since at lext ninteen seventy. next we have the ban on NASA reporting meteorites and such. next we have the south pole telescope, and similar, IRIS, WISE and GOES all of which seem designed to detect infra red signals/x-rays. a brown dwarf maybe? we then have the apparent murder of Robert Harrington, on his journey with his telescope, to the southern lattitudes, , to plot the approach of I believe, Nemesis. so, all these add up to something approaching us. lastly, can any sane rational person, think the emergency directives of the US president are anything to do with some nomads carrying shoulder launched missiles? the biggest terrorist are in fact the Israeli government, the united states and British government in one form or another. Al-ciada is only one of the CIA's many arms of covert warfare. but the real panic will come when ths dwarf star approaches, and the real earthchanges begin. this is what the FEMA camps are for, the DHS, the patriot act. when the populace run wild, when the earth starts burning up, then the rock and roll will really start. This I submit, is what the real emergency measures are. and whne the fun begins, the PTB may start a war to distract us, and pull the levers thus damning the economy, in order to create a mass distraction whilst the elite so called flee to the underground bunkers whilst we are distracted.
