Who knew "meep!" was a four-letter word?
The utterance favored by bungling lab assistant Beaker of The Muppet Show has been banned at Danvers High School in Massachusetts after students said it to repeatedly interrupt school.
Principal Thomas Murray says the word was part of a disruption planned using Facebook.
The Salem News reports that parents recently got an automated call about "meep!" from Murray. He warned them that students who said or displayed the word at school could be suspended.
Murray says the warning was needed because students didn't heed his "reasonable request" to stop the meeping.
Danvers High sophomore Melanie Crane says it doesn't mean anything in particular.

Then again, teachers are the parents in this economically divested body social, and are not granted the rights for the responsibilities they take on.
But they'll give Julia Roberts a bazillion for a couple months work. Or some sheister banker a quadri-bazillion for a couple minutes jerk - I mean, work.
Then people wonder why 14 year olds are gang-raping their class mates. The profession of teaching has been so flushed down the toilet by our society (except in those spheres where a successful ratio is maintained... ahem), that the best we can do is a principal that lets games get under his skin?
We're in trouble. Parents are working (slaving), and no one is raising the kids. The only ones who do get the undivided attention of their parents are being taught some very inhuman ways.
I need to rest. I'll stay, but sometimes, I really need to just close my eyes and hope.
