The Israel National Counter-Terrorism Unit held a drill at Ben Gurion Airport on Saturday, "freeing" hostages and "killing" terrorists in a simulated aircraft hostage exercise.
The Unit specializes in hostage rescue operations, and says it carried out the exercise to keep up levels of alert and fitness among the officers.
Israel Police has in the past called on the services of the Unit in the fight against organized crime.
