The mother of a Gwinnett elementary school student is out on bond after investigators said she physically attacked a student who was bullying her son.
Gwinnett County school police charged Hannah Sesay, 41, with battery. According to a police report obtained by Channel 2, investigators said Sesay started to grab and shake a Winn Holt Elementray School student after he kicked her son in the groin.
"A parent physically approached a student at one of the bus stops," said school spokesman Jorge Quintanna.
Gwinnett County school police said the incident happened at the bus stop for Sandalwood homes on April 29. Sesay was arrested after witnesses, including a school bus driver, reported the incident. Investigators said Sesay left marks and bruises on the child's arms.
According to the report, she denied the claims.
Channel 2 tried to contact Sesay to get her side of the story but she didn't answer her door.
A Gwinnett School spokesman said if parents suspect bullying they should report it immediately to school administrators.
"You can understand when a child is being bullied it can upset a parent. But it's not the right thing to do to physically handle a child," said Quintanna.
Sesay has been released on $1,200 bond.

Making a big deal about a mother refusing to let violence to her child slide, and making her the bad guy is ponerology in action, imo.
I can't think of any mother I know who would just stand there and let that happen. Not one.
Since when has reporting bullies to a school administration changed anything? As far as I know...never. If its okay to put cops in schools and allow them to taser kids, why is it suddenly not okay for a mother to stop a bully in his tracks?
Its perverse.
