Iran's ambassador to Damascus, Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, assured security officials in Syria that Teheran would be ready to offer Damascus any assistance it may need, Iranian media reported on Thursday afternoon following a resurgence of tensions between Israel and Syria.
Syria claims that IDF aircraft entered Syrian airspace overnight.

Wonder if the Iranian ambassador said this the way it is being reported. Considering the last line, "Syria CLAIMS that IDF aircraft..." - it seems to be written from an Israeli point of veiw - and we know how badly Israel wants war with Iran...
