The animal appeared to be on a rampage, even chasing panicked tourists into the sea at the beach in Karwia, northern Poland.

Sunbathers look distressed and unsure what to do as they try to chase the boar away.
Beachgoers could be heard shouting: 'Jesus. It is attacking people! Let's all go into the water.'
Some ran for the sea but were chased into the water by the boar.
Others slowly made their way off the beach but were also soon caught up by the hog, who took the chance to topple over yet another sunbather.
Several others tried to take down the animal and many a beachgoer were knocked to the ground despite their best efforts to distract it, tire it out, or make it flee.
It emerged from the forest in the background and was eventually chased back into the woods by the group of men.
