If the refugee crisis wasn't bad enough, and the sabotaged Syria talks guaranteeing failure, there is one other matter on the back burner.
That would be the NATO plan to attack in Libya. With their home fronts in tatters, risking a war across the Med. Pond would be beyond foolish.
Yet, that's what the NATO Warhawks plan on doing. Oblivious to the dangers of War, they are bound and determined to carry forth.
Fools rush in.
I really like the analysis from South Front when it's posted.
Seems to me if the EU does not come up with some critical actions within the next few months to live up to what they call themselves the "European Union" then they are doomed to be nothing than the occupied nations that they have inflicted so much pain and suffering on.
And as we see now with the so called immigration crisis, it's always the innocent who suffer,
They will loose any sovereign status as individual countries and will be swept into the black hole of US domination. In order to survive, they will have to climb out of that black hole and assert themselves as a collective entity.
Can the leaders of the individual EU countries find it within themselves to act as a cohesive group and say enough is enough.
Are they in pure and simple terms, willing to take responsibility for the innocents that they have wrought so much pain and suffering on. And could potentially bring that suffering onto it's own peoples. Are they willing to take action to stop a potential crisis?
Are they willing to act like true leaders and stand up for the people of the individual countries that they are responsible for, that elected them, to protect there families, there way of life. What are they thinking, they are just throwing them down the toilet.
The EU if it was a cohesive and cooperative unit could absorb many, many thousands of migrants. There have he ability to do this. The puzzling question for me is "Why Not" what is holding them back.
It has been said that a so-called "bottleneck" has been created to exacerbate the crisis. Seems to that there is a bottleneck in the thinking and political will of the EU nations. I guess in the next few months all will be revealed.
All the worlds a stage and the actors merely players, or so it goes.
Really, and here I have to include the Russian Federation.
We have all been led and bled to believe the Economy is all and every thing that is. It is the modern Dog, all must believe in It! After all, it creates jobs! Jobs equals prosperity, surely!
I disagree. Economics is largely led by consumerism, which is largely led by increases in population. The more people there are, the more profits that can be made! If your 'economy' increases, then your government gets more finances via taxation, so to enable more social support.
This is what all governments call 'progress'.
Yet, this is clearly an unsustainable situation.
We live in a finite world. We cannot keep expanding economies, i.e. population, without running out of resources.
This is by far the biggest problem the human race faces. I've yet to see a government that will admit that. Not one.
Hawklord..Well said I have been calling this perpetual growth idea pushed & hard wired into the social brain MADNESS..
It is unsustainable for sure..
All you mentioned is correct but just add wars & more wars & mass poverty through globalism to it & there you have it in a nutshell.
Time everyone realized this
In the second video, International Military Review - Syria (Feb. 5), a map of France is shown pointing out "the two hot spots of radicalization", Paris and Lyon. On the map presented they have Lyon located against the Pyrenees, in the Haute Garonne departement. This is a great distance from its actual location. Who produced this video? The US State Department? Fox News?
South Front's credibility would be greatly bolstered by some fact checkers.
