The current Prime Minister of Australia (Malcolm Turnbull) has maintained that policy and attitude.
Really, if your government insists on keeping secret their expenditure of public monies, how can you judge them? So many public/private deals are 'commercial in confidence' nowadays.
So much for democracy.
