All sides opted for a measured response to what transpired on November 24 in the Syrian airspace, the analyst said in an interview with Politico.
"Putin blew out some steam but subsequently began to talk about coping with the problem. The Turks proved to be resilient and tough but without exaggerating the collision. ... So in effect the parties to this unfolding drama have become more reasonable," Brzezinski observed. "But I think it was quite lucky the shoot-down in Turkey was not done by us."
Comment: What bizarro planet is Brzezinski living on?! On top of Turkey's bald-faced aggression against the Russian bomber, Turkish forces have also started attacking Syrian soldiers who've been fighting Daesh!
See: More provocation? Syrian Army fired upon by mortars from Turkish territory
And then the Global Chessboard "master" says "But I think it was quite lucky the shoot-down in Turkey was not done by us."So now we're supposed to feel lucky that it wasn't the US that almost sparked a major escalation in war - as though these things of such huge import "just happen"??
The Cold War hawk is also quite optimistic when it comes to relations between Washington and Moscow, which many describe as no less than the second installment of the Cold War. These tensions, according to him, are "serious but not fatal."
"I may be naรฏve but I think this is one of those situations in which the stakes are not that dramatic," Brzezinski noted.
Comment: We knew Brzezinski was a psychopath; we didn't know he was on crack.
In fact, the analyst believes that major powers could well move beyond the Su-24 incident, put aside their differences and focus instead on finding a solution to the Syrian conflict since they have a shared interest in regional stability and would prefer to avoid confrontation in other areas.
Comment: Again, what planet is this maniacal snake living on? Everyone who is informed on the subject - including Brzezinski himself - knows that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the US, and Israel have a vested interest in regional instability. And have been relentless in this drive for many years now. Not only that, but Bizarre Brzezinski is himself the ideological godfather of this approach to US hegemony.
"In effect, we might be on the brink of some progress among the major powers regarding not just the Turkish-Russian skirmish, but towards some salutary accommodation regarding containment of wider regional violence," Brzezinski noted.
Comment: Correction: Brzezinski isn't on crack, but has probably cracked-up and blown a gasket! This may have come with the realization that Team Russia has outsmarted and out-strategized Team Empire and will continue to do so - no matter what underhanded tactics are thrown at them; thereby laying waste to Zbig's life's work of subjugating Russia and securing world resources for the US. On the other hand, this wily puppet master may be saying all this just to make the impression of being constructive while he hatches some new plans for chaos.
On November 24, a Turkish F-16 shot down a Su-24 bomber involved in Russia's counterterrorism operation in Syria.
Ankara claimed that the aircraft had violated its airspace, although it was shot down over Syrian territory. Russian officials and the Su-24 pilot, who survived the crash, insisted that the plane did not cross into Turkey. Moreover, the crew, according to the pilot, did not receive any warning prior to the attack.
Crack-Not all it's cracked up to be.
"We knew Brzezinski was a psychopath, but we didn't know that he's on crack! "
The jocular point being he must be hyped on some reality denying drug.
Most psychoactive drugs (e.g., nicotine, caffeine, cocaine, LSD...) have a degree of that, but the ones that truly try to disconnect a brain from what it perceives as reality are mostly what are called hallucinogenics and antipsychotics. They range from pot through Prozac, LSD, MAOI Inhibitors, Librium, etc. to one of the worst - PCP.*
Given how many are out there to choose from, I'd suggest it would be
So, I submit that is he on Haldol? might be more accurate and witty than the staler - though common - 'is he on crack?'
