RosTurizm [Russian Tourism agency] has banned the sale of tours to Turkey

RosTourizm banned tour operators from selling tours to Turkey on Tuesday, November 24. This is due to the threat of terrorism in the country. This was reported on the agency's website.

"The provision of services for organization of trips of Russian tourists to Turkey under the threat of terrorism, according to the RosTourism Agency, is a flagrant violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation and shall entail legal responsibility", — stated the message.

In this regard, the RosTourism Agency "recommends that the Russian tour operators, travel agents suspend the promotion and sale of tourism products and individual tourism services" to Turkey, including through third countries.

Travelers have the right to demand a full refund of the tour cost.

Earlier on Tuesday, the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov called on Russian tourists to refrain from trips to Turkey.
