Jens Stoltenberg

After an emergency meeting with member nations in Brussels, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that NATO fully supports Turkey's decision to shoot down a Russian bomber. Try to read this entire statement without throwing your computer out the window:
I have previously expressed my concerns about the implications of the military actions of the Russian Federation close to NATO's borders.

This highlights the importance of having and respecting arrangements to avoid such incidents in the future.

As we have repeatedly made clear, we stand in solidarity with Turkey and support the territorial integrity of our NATO Ally, Turkey.
The rest of the press conference is predictable: Stoltenberg blames Russia for violating precious NATO airspace, says Russia should be more careful in order to avoid "accidents" like this in the future, and then admits that NATO is not directly in contact with Russia.

NATO is awful.
