Several days of heavy rain in south west China has caused flooding and landslides which have left at least 11 people dead and 27 still missing.

One of the worst affected areas is Wuxi County in the province of Chongqing.

Meanwhile, the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters reported some figures for flood related disasters in China so far this year:

* 377 killed

* 94 still missing

* 54.6 million affected by floods

* 4.6 million hectares crops damaged

* 160,000 homes destroyed
