Throughout the Occupied West Bank and Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem), Zionist settlers are digging in.

They are excavating foundations for new settlements, uprooting Palestinian olive trees and smashing Palestinian homes with their bulldozers.

Today there are well over half a million Zionist invaders squatting in al-Quds and the West Bank, stocking up on weapons and " all too often" using Palestinian children for target practice.

The Zionist settler-colonialists are digging in for the long haul. Clearly they are not planning on leaving.

Ironically, by burrowing into the land of Palestine like aggressively parasitical vermin, the genocidal Zionist settlers are digging their own grave...and the grave of the so-called state of Israel.

On Sunday, the Israeli government seized over 400 hectares of Palestinian land. The latest Zionist land grab targeted Bethlehem, a holy city for the world's Christians and Muslims, both of whom love Jesus of Nazareth and eagerly await his return. (Zionists, unlike Muslims and Christians, loathe Jesus and besmirch his holy name with slanders too obscene to repeat here.)

Comment: The religious problem of Jesus is, above all, a historical problem. When we sling mud about a fictional character we lose credibility. For more information on Jesus' possible historical identity check out SOTT Blogtalk Radio:

Sunday's sacrilegious seizure of Christian/Islamic holy land was only the latest of a worsening series of Zionist outrages that are turning world opinion decisively against the so-called Jewish state. This summer's carnage in Gaza, where the Israelis murdered more than 2000 Palestinians the vast majority of them civilians including 448 children will one day be seen as a historic turning point: The beginning of the end of Israel.

The Zionists, who recognize that the biggest threat they face is delegitimization, are doing a brilliant job of delegitimizing themselves.

Israel's contested legitimacy is founded on two myths. Myth #1 claims that Zionists are always victims and never perpetrators. Myth #2 asserts that Israel is a modern liberal democratic state that respects human rights and the rule of law, both domestically and internationally.

Israel's settlements explode both myths. The Israelis are putting ever-expanding permanent settlements on land that the whole world agrees is Palestinian. These shameless, indefensible land grabs show that Israel is the perpetrator, not the victim and that the Zionists are blatantly flouting international law by shamelessly committing crimes against humanity, up to and including genocide.

Israel always claimed, for public relations purposes, that all of its settlements on territory seized in 1967 were merely temporary. The purpose of these settlements was supposedly to serve as bargaining chips in a "land for peace" deal. Ostensibly, Israel was going to make peace, retreat back to its pre-1967 borders, and be accepted by its neighbors... especially the Palestinians it ethnically cleansed in 1948.

But the rabidly genocidal Likud party whose leaders were Irgun and Stern Gang terrorists who had slaughtered vast numbers of innocent people (and earned the loathing of all thoughtful Jews including Albert Einstein and Hannah Arendt) seized power in a series of coups d'etat that included the murder of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. According to former BBC Mideast correspondent Alan Hart, these terrorist extremists swore a blood oath that they would never evacuate the Zionist settlements in the Occupied West Bank and Occupied al-Quds. Any Israeli politician who tried to do that, they agreed, would be murdered.

The Injil (Gospels) tell us that "he who lives by the sword will die by the sword." The Zionist entity which was created by terrorism, including massacres of civilians in dozens of Palestinian villages will likewise die by terrorism. The ideological descendants of the Irgun and Stern Gang terrorists are slaughtering Palestinians, stealing land, and flouting the rule of law... but today's world is not the Zionist-forgiving, holocaust-traumatized, under-mediated world of 1948.

Today, the whole world is watching. The whole world knows that the settlements are illegal. The whole world can see the tweets sent by a Zionist sniper bragging about murdering 13 Palestinian children in one day. The whole world watched in horror as the Zionists bombed schools, refugee shelters, hospitals, ambulances, children playing on the beach, and other civilian targets in Gaza. The whole world can see Israeli leaders openly calling for genocide.

Comment: Yet, besides spreading the truth, the whole world cannot do much about it:
The chances of Palestinians surviving the next decade are very slim. As the timeline increases, the likelihood of survival decreases.

The problem is that Israel is not a backwater, but Palestine was and 'is'.

Israel is a modern and capable nation, with a well-trained army, innovative military technologies, an impressive economy, and incredible treaties and trade deals with virtually all modern nations. On top of this, it is a nuclear power. It has a large nuclear arsenal. Israel can play and fight at every conceivable political level. They are situated in such a way that any attempt to grossly interfere with them would either fail outright, or if it was sufficiently motivated would be so pyrrhic as to be infeasible.

Israel is a producer of arms and military equipment for the West. It is also a producer of essential computer technology (like Intel chips). Sanctioning them is not really practicable, as they are an important source of war tech. This has the converse effect that since they manufacture and distribute the very weapons that could or would be used against them, that means they have them as well, and therefore may or may not have developed countermeasures against them.

Since sanctions on any significant scale (beyond perhaps some token sanctions) are not practicable, and invasion is not practicable, then what can ultimately be done about Israel? Well, nothing. At least not in respect to the Palestinians. No country is willing to go to war with Israel over them, as the Palestinians would be killed anyway, and the death toll on the side of any attacking nation would simply compound the problem.

The rule for these situations is: When you can't win, draw.

The belligerent attitude of Israel is forgiven by Western masses because the 'War on Terror' has conditioned them into accepting that all Muslims are terrorists until proven innocent. Alternately, massacring Palestinians is justified as necessary for pacifying an insurgent militant population. Striving to peel away those 'plausible lies', made possible by decades of crafty Israeli propaganda, is one of the most fruitful counter-strategies all of us who see the totalitarian horror of the situation can do.

By pursuing these viciously extremist policies, the Zionists are making a fatal strategic mistake. Had they chosen to limit their settlements to a few thousand or even a few tens of thousands of settlers, they might have convinced the world that they sincerely desired peace. Had they cooperated with international human rights organizations and regularly prosecuted criminal acts by their soldiers and policemen, they might have convinced the world that their power is legitimate. Had they used military force proportionately and discretely, and only as a last resort, they might have maintained the sympathy that the Zionist movement gained due to German crimes against Jews during World War II.

If Israel's terrorist leaders had merely done a better job of hiding the fact that they are terrorists, they might have maintained the minimal level of legitimacy and sympathy they need.

But Israel is in the grip of a national psychosis, and Israeli leaders are bad liars. By blundering into losing wars against Lebanon n 2006 and now Gaza, and squandering the global good will that they never deserved in the first place, the Zionists have painted themselves into a corner.

Polls show the vast majority of Jewish Israelis support the genocidal massacres in Gaza. These people climb hilltops to barbecue meat and drink alcoholic beverages as they cheer the dismemberment of women and children.

Israel's turn towards blatant genocide seems irrevocable. This is partly the result of demography.

Comment: But it is primarily the result of psychopaths in power and the bizarre, blood-thirsty society that has allowed itself to be conditioned by them.

Extremist Likud-supporting Israelis, many of them relatively uneducated and unproductive, are having huge families. Meanwhile, educated liberal Israelis are having far fewer children... and many are emigrating to Europe or the USA to escape their genocidal surroundings. The result is a demographic bulge of rabid Nazi-style thuggishness that threatens Israel's very existence.

Twenty years ago, ten years ago, even five years ago, sizable but ever-shrinking numbers of Jewish Israelis viewed the settlers as extremist lunatics and looked forward to the day they would be forcibly repatriated. These relatively reasonable Israelis are a dying breed; most of them have emigrated, and the few that are left have largely given up.

Today, no-one doubts that Israel's illegal settlements, and its obscenely genocidal crimes against humanity, will continue indefinitely... until one day the world finally says "Enough!" and puts an end to the illegitimate terrorist entity that hides behind the name of Israel.
