A GoFundMe page set up to support Darren Wilson has raised that amount since it was created on August 17.
The Wilson page's mission statement says: "We stand behind Officer Darren Wilson and his family during this trying time in their lives. All proceeds will be sent directly to Darren Wilson and his family for any financial needs they may have including legal fees."
"All money will go to the cop who did his job against the Negro criminal," said New Empire Knights of the KKK.
Some of the contributors described themselves as fellow law enforcement officers. They have also sent messages of support to Wilson.
Brown was shot multiple times and killed by Wilson in the Saint Louis suburb of Ferguson on Aug. 9.
The fatal shooting touched off nearly two weeks of protests against police brutality and oppression of African Americans in the mostly black suburb of 21,000 people.
Witnesses say the unarmed teenager was surrendering with his hands up as Wilson shot him.
Navi Pillay, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said on Tuesday that clashes between police and protesters in Ferguson shows that "apartheid is flourishing" in the US, similar to South Africa during the apartheid era.
Comment: That a violent, racist, hate group like the KKK is allowed to exist and operate in the U.S.A., is proof that fascism wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross has always been an accepted part of America by those who rule it.
