"We have about 50% of the world's wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. To do so, we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming; and our attention will have to be concentrated everywhere on our immediate national objectives. We need not deceive ourselves that we can afford today the luxury of altruism and world-benefaction."
~ US State Department, 1948

Putin has the lap dog poodle e.u. on the ropes, financially hurting them with actions that are "of the moment"... hey e.u., keep your apples, tomatoes, etc., and let them rot where they sit... and if my math is correct, 125 mil euros gov't handout vs. 11 bil loss is tantamount to getting kicked in the balls... I know this has not fully played out yet, but I say give it another month and the poodle yappin' e.u. will see what is really occurring to their economies... also, I saw that other article on SOTT this a.m. that said Brazil will sell more to Russia, no matter what the e.u. does
the fear I have is that during elections in September, '14, much trouble will be stirred up by Maidan (NAZI) types in Russia... amerika will see to it that many dollars are placed there to upset these elections... I'm relatively certain Putin will address these anarchist/ criminal types as the elections move closer
