Washington, D.C. police said that Orlando Roberts, who is a sex offender, and Javon Henson met the 14-year-old girl on Instagram, and then continued contacting her using the Kik online messaging service.
According to WJLA, Roberts presented himself as Henson's father, and offered to lie to the victim's mother about the age of his "son" so they could all go on a picnic together.
The men drove to the victim's home in Laurel, where they met her foster mother, and then took the girl to back to Roberts' home in Northwest Washington.
She told investigators that Roberts asked her to give "Daddy" a hug, and then the men took her to the basement and raped her multiple times. After the ordeal was over, she said they told her that "this was their secret," and that she could never tell anyone.
Police said that Roberts was found guilty more than a decade ago of raping a child. He registered as a sex offender after being released from prison late last year.
The contagion called social media. It seems highly suspect, but then even the US State Dept is using it as a verified source of intelligence, which seems to say to those stupid sheep in the herd, that it is a 'trusted source'.... until we each learn for ourselves that it is not... usually the hard way.... pain and lots of it..... so imagine how much our civilization will need to learn the same?
