An American political analyst, Mike Billington, says the United States' plot to oust a sovereign elected government in Ukraine is a gross crime, adding that US President Barack Obama must be impeached over the Crimean crisis. The expert supposes it is a disgusting hypocrisy. Everyone knows is that it is not the Russians who are intervening in the internal affairs of Ukraine - it is the US indeed.

Everybody heard Victoria Nuland's open discussion with ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt about who they want to put in office and who they want to keep out on the street, continue the violent demonstrations that were going on.

The call for a referendum for separation in Ukraine is, in fact, contrary to the national constitution. But the vote to throw [ousted Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych out of office was also against the constitution, the expert assumes. It did not have the required number, according to the constitution, to impeach the president and therefore in fact Yanukovych is still the legitimate president, even though he is obviously not in office.

But the current government there is absolutely illegitimate and the attempt by Obama and Kerry to insist that this legitimate government, which is in fact illegitimate, be honored by Western countries is an absolute abomination and the attempt to accuse Russia of interfering in the internal affairs of Ukraine after the entire world watched [US Assistant Secretary of State] Victoria Nuland, Obama's personal representative to Ukraine, on that interview that was caught with her talking to the ambassador, plotting the overthrow of a sovereign elected government. This is a crime, a gross crime against civilization under international law.

It is in itself adequate to demand that Obama to be impeached, but the call at the end of last week by Obama to declare a national emergency inside the United States, a call which has not been broadcast widely in the press and therefore you may not even know it, but his call for a national emergency inside the United States is contrary to American law. It has no basis in truth.
He's claiming that the Russian interest in Crimea can be understood - taking into consideration the treaties that Russia has with Crimea.
"Obama is declaring himself a dictator, that he's acting outside of the constitution, outside of the Congress and that he must be impeached immediately", the expert supposes.
"His [Obama's] claim that is a national emergency in the United States is simply proof that Obama is declaring himself a dictator, that he's acting outside of the constitution, outside of the Congress and that he must be impeached immediately if we are not to go with a thermonuclear confrontation with Russia in the coming days," Mike Billington, editor for Executive Intelligence Review newsmagazine, told Press TV.

He said the call for a referendum runs counter to the national constitution, adding that the vote to throw ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych out of office was also against the constitution since it did not have the required number.

Billington emphasized that Yanukovych is still the legitimate president, even though he is not in office.

Local Crimean administration is expected to hold a referendum on March 16 in order to decide whether the peninsula collide with Russia or remain part of Ukraine.
