It is to mention that it seems that the French government has no problem in the situation when it supports these Al Qaeda-linked groups and the terrorists and jihadists of the so-called "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) in Syria, but has a problem with the case when such kind of people eventually travel to France and stay on French territory - probably because the French government knows exactly how dangerous, radical and fanatic these kind of people are.
In addition, what´s that for a kind of policy? If you support such religious fanatics abroad, while exactly knowing about their relations to such terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda or the Syrian Al Qaeda offshoot, the so-called Jabhat al Nusra / al-Nusra front, but then shitting in your pants in a situation when it becomes clear that some of these guys might travel to France or are even nationals of France? Stop the financially support of jihadists and terrorists abroad and stop the arming and military aid to religious fanatics and armed militants because every kind of a different policy is nothing else than dangerous hypocrisy and could strike back in the end.

The interview by France 2 with the French Interior Minister Manuel Valls was published after the French television channel aired a documentary (called "Truth about Syria") about nationals of France who are already fighting in the ranks of armed terrorist groups in the Arab nation. The reportage "Truth about Syria" was produced and made by two French directors and showed, beside other things, the meeting of the two French directors with the families of two French jihadists / Islamists who already went to Syria in order to fight alongside the Syrian Al Qaeda branch (Jabhat al Nusra / al-Nusra Front) to finally establish an Islamist state in this Arab nation and to get rid of the "infidels" of the secular Syrian government and probably also to get rid of the "infidels" everywhere else in Syria.
In case if you do not know it, there are a lot of different sects living in Syria and not all are Muslims and even if they are Muslims, there could be still a small difference between them. There are many Christians and also Jews living in Syria (e.g. Damascus) and in the situation that the already very powerful Al Nusra Front really would gain the control above the country, you could imagine what will happen to other sects. They have an innate hatred against other faiths, sciences, education, and to learn new things in general or to be faced with reality and logic in terms of old books and fairy tales.
I don't think that is something good to get roped into, even if it is only as cannon fodder. It looks like something to be wary of to me.
