1978 was the 7th consecutive high Neutron Count year. We are currently matching that run with no sign of a Solar Wind to blow the stuff back. In the former case, the Neutrons came in like a wave irregardless of the state of the Solar Wind, overpowering it. Now, with the shields of the Sun & Earth down, another such wave will find a sitting duck.
