LAURA KNIGHT-JADCZYK AND JOE QUINN
Since the 9/11 attacks, no book has provided a satisfactory answer as to WHY the attacks occurred and who was ultimately responsible for carrying them out - until now.
I gotta add, that the picture of the pike reminds me of Amerika's foreign policy efforts towards the world in general and, in particular, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran, et al.
Beware of what you wish for, lest it come true.

Looks like a trout I once saw that tried to swallowed a mullet half its size and choked on it
This is the epitome of self-destructive "eyes bigger than stomach" rapaciousness.
This is the very PICTURE of the quintessential truth of where we are otherwise going, unless we learn to curb our unrelenting appetites in the material world, by favoring the spiritual truths that have always opposed such selfish abandon.
This picture should be titled:
"American dreaming awakened"

How much more evolved are humans than this dead ( no more offspring ) fish ?
How perversely destructive the heinous mental conditioning of humans -- by psychopaths -- must be, to turn most into acting as if starving fish like this ?
CATCHING MONKEYS
(- 1 -) Find a small mouth jug and tie it to a stake in the ground
(- 2 -) Ensure the opening is just the size of the monkey's fist you wish to trap
(- 3 -) Place some tasty smelly food in the jug
(- 4 -) After grabbing the food, the monkey's fist will no longer fit through the opening
(- 5 -) After becoming caught, the monkey would rather starve to death, than ever let go

CATCHING HUMANS
Are human's much more evolved than monkeys,
when driven into fearful overload and when
becoming increasingly overwhelmed ?
Nothing New Under The Sun
Our family's Time Life Nature Library series book, "The Sea" (c. 1961, 1969), on pp 44 and 45 has the story of a fossilized 14 foot Portheus at and swallowed a six foot ichthyodectes, (both remote herring ancestors, it tells me), whereupon it died, and sank to the ocean floor and how the story of "Fatal Gluttony" was preserved in the fossil record.
The following fishing blog's reference to an old Life magazine story has the same picture and likely much of the same text: [Link]
