He did it pretty well.

But I am sure he knows more than he said, even though he told his audience that he would speak more frankly than he would in a diplomatic context.

He clearly stated that underdeveloped countries were being taken advantage of by wealthy countries and corporate interests.

He indicated the definite trend towards an anti-peace climate that could spark a new arms race.

And he stated more or less openly that an attempt was being made to impose tyranny under the banner of "unity" (globalism) instead of working out a confederated "multipolar" system for the planet.

He expressed support for the charter of the United Nations, while challenging the larger member nations to actually implement that charter, rather than some make-over that would serve the interests of a few.

He named the United States several times as an example of a nation being hypocritical in all of these areas.

I think we cannot underestimate the difficulties involved in bringing some level of peacefulness and stability to any area of the planet when so many psychopaths exist who have the opposite intention. This insane interference with the laudable goals of sane people is THE short-term crisis which confronts us all, no matter what other crises may rage around us. If we don't handle this one right, we are doomed, no matter how well we handle the others.
