Randy George Scott, who posted a video (below) on YouTube of himself driving up to 186 mph on the Trans-Canada Highway, walked into the Kelowna, British Columbia police department and surrendered because of a warrant out for his arrest.
Kelowna police said in a statement: "The man allegedly responsible for the infamous YouTube video 'Victoria Highway Run 299km' is in custody."
According to CNN, Scott videotaped himself speeding on the 50 mph highway, dangerously weaving around cars.
After the video went viral, members of the public squealed on Scott to law enforcement. Scott is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
The video has over 1 million views on YouTube.

. . . but -this- is suicidal. I owned a motorcycle repair shop in the early '70s and owned a 750 cc triple BSA that did 130+mph (210+km/hr) straight out of the box in 1970 so I know exactly what I'm talking about when I say there is no way on earth anyone in his and/or her right mind runs at speeds like that in traffic.
If one of those cars was to suddenly, like unpredictably, change lanes it'd be all over in milliseconds.
And not only that you -never, ever- heel over hard and cross a white or yellow line. Those thing might as well be greased.
But all that said, that's a sweet running scooter . . .
