LAURA KNIGHT-JADCZYK AND JOE QUINN
Since the 9/11 attacks, no book has provided a satisfactory answer as to WHY the attacks occurred and who was ultimately responsible for carrying them out - until now.
This study also seems to imply that people of the same age are of equal intelligence to each other or that more intelligence comes with age - sometimes true, not always.
Not trying to pick it apart. It's interesting.
I recently saw in seagulls what I think is an example of intelligence and group work. I wanted to read a book at the end of a pier so I walked out on it, causing a small flock of seagulls in the way to disperse. Some less timid ducks swam near me, I suppose hoping for bread, and I smiled at them. Shortly after, a lone seagull swooped down at the end of the pier near me, 10 feet or less away, sat for a second looking at me, then took off flying again. Shortly after that, a bunch of seagulls landed on the pier again (I'll assume the same seagulls - guess I can't recognize birds as well as birds can recognize people!) and when I walked along it back to the land they moved aside a bit but didn't fly away.
I think I was being observed and tested. Isn't that ironic?
Animal vs animal, shouldn't the age factor be brought it for questioning? I'll disregard the whole PreAdamics vs Adamics, awakened or not issue, and focus on the relative age one instead. I didn't see mentioned that a relative to human 7 year old bird was used for the comparison, just a 'bird', so is that an adult bird vs a 7 year old human? Do they really need to do a test for this? Or is that required for official studies in Cambrige? Maybe it's a lack of Hobbits in the Shire? Weren't they considered as children? Maybe this study should have been made by literary specialists instead?
