FORT COLLINS, Colorado - Eleven residents of an assisted living home in Fort Collins were treated for flulike symptoms Saturday morning, officials say.

Health officials have not been able to identify the cause of the illnesses.

Emergency workers were called at 9 a.m. to Residence at Oakridge at 4750 Wheaton Drive, said Poudre Fire Authority spokesman Patrick Love.

While paramedics were treating the first patient, more calls for help came in from the same facility, Love said. Six people were taken to Poudre Valley Hospital for treatment.
